Partners In Mission (PIM) is an annual fundraising campaign that gives Salvation Army churches the opportunity to support the various ministries and services that The Salvation Army operates in the developing world. This year, our focus countries were Costa Rica and Panama.
In 2026, our church's goal was to raise $5,500 toward PIM. Throughout the months of April & May, we have been working toward that goal through a few different initiatives...general giving, a Bake Sale as well as our Face Your Food Fear Challenge: Ceviche Edition.
During our Worship Gathering this morning, we shared the amazing news that our church surpassed our goal by raising $7,281.76 for PIM. We also revealed the results of our Face Your Food Fear Challenge: Ceviche Edition. Because Austin and Sammi tied (raising $1,429.88 each), they both ate ceviche for the very first time. Ceviche is a popular Latin American cold appetizer consisting of fresh, raw fish marinated in citrus juice, typically lime or lemon. It is usually mixed with chili peppers, onions, and herbs. Thank you Austin and Sammi for being such good sports!
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our 2026 Partners In Mission Campaign a success by contributing to this important project!
