From remote villages to overlooked communities to cities where faith must be lived quietly and courageously, we honour the incredible women who are boldly carrying the hope of Christ into the hard, hidden, and hostile places of our world.
We think of the mothers who disciple their children in secret, the young women who risk rejection to follow Jesus, the widows who lead house churches, all who are serving with resilience and grace. Their faith echoes the legacy of women throughout Scriptureâlike Estherâs courage, Ruthâs loyalty, and Maryâs surrender.
In places where the Gospel is restricted or opposed, women are often the quiet strength of the Churchâpraying, leading, teaching, and loving when no one else sees.
TWR Canada stands with women across the globe, so they may find access to the gospel where they live and in languages they understand. Through biblical teaching, leadership training, gospel-centred broadcasting, and media-based discipleship, we are helping women encounter Christ through media.
On this International Womenâs Day, we celebrate the bravery of women around the world. We amplify their voices. We commit to stand with them in prayer and partnership.
