Dear God,
As we begin a new school year, we thank You for bringing us together again. Thank You for the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to make a difference in the lives of those around us.
Bless our students with curious minds, confident hearts, and the courage to try even when things are difficult. Help them to be kind to one another, to respect differences, and to remember that every person has value and purpose.
Bless our teachers, staff, and administrators with patience, wisdom, strength, and compassion. Give them the energy to meet each day with grace and the encouragement to know that their work matters.
Guide our school community to be a place where everyone feels safe, welcomed, respected, and supported. Help us to listen before we judge, to encourage rather than discourage, and to choose kindness whenever we can.
When challenges arise, remind us that we do not have to face them alone. Give us perseverance when the road is difficult and gratitude when things go well.
May this school year be filled with learning, friendship, growth, and many opportunities to shine.
Watch over our students and staff throughout the year, and help us make this a wonderful year for everyone.
