Friday morning brought a wave of excitement to our church. We were delighted to have Valerie join us and we eagerly anticipate her upcoming article highlighting our vital network of support. A heartfelt shout-out goes to Steve, whose efforts in unloading the truck kept us moving forward. Amidst the busyness, we were reminded of God’s constant presence; a single rose bloomed beautifully, serving as a silent, loving testament to His grace. We are truly blessed by this community, the spirit of service, and the quiet miracles that bloom in our everyday lives.

Important Updates to Our Community Food Programs Coming September 2026

After careful assessment and thoughtful discussion, we are making important changes to better serve our community. Because our core mission is to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, all food programs will unite under the new umbrella of “Meals that Matter” starting this September.

Please note that our standalone pantry day will no longer run. Moving forward, pantry access will be exclusively available to those registered with the "Meals that Matter" program. This integration allows us to better understand community needs and provide tailored, increased food support.

Operating together on the same day, the initiative includes:
Pantry access (for registered participants)
Eat, Educate and Entertain (an updated dedicated children's program)
Good Food Box (food discussions and lessons)
Food Security Education (sharing lived experiences)
Collective Kitchen (preparing food to go)

Currently, the "Meals that Matter" program is full. We will post updates when space becomes available. Thank you for your continued support.

It is hard to believe that August is already upon us! As we enjoy these final days of summer, I hope you are taking time to truly rest, recharge, and renew your spirit. September will be here before we know it, bringing with it the joyful rhythm and bustling busyness of church life.
We have so much to look forward to this season. Keep a close watch here for upcoming details regarding changes to our food programs as we refine our mission to serve. (No Pantry Day in August)
We are also thrilled to announce another “Beyond Distribution” event—a beautiful opportunity for fellowship and friendship themed, Let’s Tackle Hunger. Additionally, a special fundraiser sale is currently in the works, offering us a chance to unite for a great cause.
Finally, we are overjoyed to share the return of Sweets and Sounds of Christmas. This year, we are particularly excited to welcome the amazing Marie Bottrell for an unforgettable performance.
Let us prepare our hearts for the season of service and connection ahead. We are so blessed to walk this journey together as a community of faith.

Words cannot adequately express our profound gratitude to Jim Collins and the team at Harvest Hands. Your unwavering generosity and unconditional support serve as a vital lifeline, allowing us to continue our mission of uplifting and serving our hardworking farmworkers.
A special highlight of this partnership has been the arrival of the "Amazon surprise boxes." These deliveries bring an incredible sense of laughter, joy, and anticipation to the fields. There is a unique magic in the air when they arrive, as no one ever knows exactly what treasures wait inside. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Enrique for his tireless dedication in ensuring these gifts reach the hands of those who need them most.
In the spirit of this community, we are reminded of the words in Hebrews 13:16: "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God."
Thank you for being the hands and feet of compassion. Your kindness blooms daily in the lives of our farmworkers
