Just up the road from Grace.. at the end of Sand Beach Road.

The final newly secured coastal property we’re highlighting this week is Sand Beach.

Just south of Liverpool, between Western Head and White Point, the 154 acre property is a well-established local recreation area popular for nature appreciation, walking, camping and more. It also includes over 700 meters of coastline – including, of course, a sandy beach.

In addition to its recreational value, the coastal property hosts high habitat diversity with a variety of upland forests, coastal dunes, coastal wetlands, freshwater wetlands, and beaches.

A fine evening of folk-celtic-bluegrass and even a touch of Baltic music. Lit by candlelight, Grace played host to Mama's Broke, a talented duo who travel the world with their original tunes & stories. Great crowd of appreciative folks attended... thank you to all who came.

Pleasant break for a glass of beer, thanks to Hell Bay Brewery who sponsored us, some snacks... thanks to Superstore & Sandy Brown's cheesy short breads and a nip outside to check out Winchester's Disposals (thanks Dave Kelley for sponsoring this event!)).

Lots of chatting.with old friends and now some new. The evening ended with a standing ovation for Mama's Broke.... and the warm glow of candles in the windows, lit up the old church by the lake, as folks ventured off into a foggy night.
A good time was had by all.
