Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kurtzville, Ontario is a congregation of Lutheran Church-Canada. The church was established in 1874, and has been Preaching Christ Crucified for over 140 years. We believe, teach, and confess the truth’s of God’s Word, The Holy Bible, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a confessional church, believing in the one true God who has revealed himself in th

ree persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our worship services follow the historical practices of the Christian church through our Liturgy, Hymnody, Preaching God’s Word, and Sacraments. Our services are not designed to entertain, but rather to bring the good news of forgiveness to all, through faith in our Saviour Jesus, and the grace of our Heavenly Father.

📣 Pastors Needed for Aurora Lutheran Summer Camp!

The Aurora Lutheran Camp Board is formally inviting ordained pastors within the Lutheran Church–Canada Central Region to serve in a voluntary capacity for the upcoming 2026 summer season in Thunder Bay. We are currently seeking a spiritual leader for the Intermediate Camp (July 12–17) and the Senior Camp (July 19–24), with the flexibility for a candidate to serve during one or both weeks. The serving pastor will be responsible for leading morning and evening Responsive Prayer (or other approved liturgy) from the LSB, incorporating Lectionary readings, and providing pastoral care and leadership support to campers and staff alike. While this is a voluntary position, the camp provides full room and board, invites the pastor’s spouse and children to attend at no cost, and offers full reimbursement for travel expenses from anywhere in Canada. Pastors with musical gifts are especially encouraged to apply for this vital opportunity to mentor youth and support the mission of Christ at Aurora Lutheran Camp.
