Venezuela has been struck by two devastating earthquakes within a minute of each other, measuring 7.5 and 7.2 in magnitude. At least 589 people have lost their lives and nearly 3,000 have been injured, with numbers expected to rise as rescue efforts continue in densely populated areas, including Caracas.
This disaster has worsened an already fragile humanitarian situation, as millions of people in Venezuela were already in need of assistance before the earthquakes. Please join us in praying for the people of Venezuela as they rescue efforts, clean-up, and continue grieving. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, for the injured, for first responders and local leaders, and for communities beginning to rebuild.
