This summer, many youth in our area stepped away from their everyday routines and into experiences designed to help them come closer to Jesus Christ.

Some attended FSY. Others participated in Moroni’s Quest. Along the way there were new friendships, laughter, quiet spiritual moments, reminders that we don’t have to walk the path of discipleship alone.

As summer comes to an end and a new school year begins, we invite our youth to reflect:

What did you learn about Jesus Christ this summer?

When did you feel Heavenly Father’s love for you?

Who helped you feel that you belonged?

How can you carry those experiences with you into the school year ahead?

Across Canada, youth attending FSY this summer discovered many of those same things—faith, friendship and belonging—as they learned what it means to “Walk With Me” and follow Jesus Christ.

Read more about their experiences in the link below “Friendship & Belonging at FSY”

Why does religious freedom matter—and what can we do to help protect it?

We’re invited to come together for the 2026 Religious Freedom Symposium: Defending Religious Liberty as a Foundational Freedom, featuring special guest speaker Dr. John Young, BA, MA, PhD.

Religious freedom blesses all of us. It protects the freedom to believe, worship and live according to conscience—and also the freedom of others to do the same. Strengthening religious freedom begins with understanding one another, building respect across differences and standing together for the rights of all.

We invite members of our stake, friends, neighbours and community members of all faiths and backgrounds to join us for an evening of learning and thoughtful conversation.

📅 September 16, 2026
🕖 7:00–9:00 p.m. | Doors open at 6:30
📍 Free Grace Fellowship, Lethbridge
🎟️ Free admission | Q&A | Light refreshments

Come, bring a friend, and be part of the conversation.

A new temple is beginning to rise in Victoria, British Columbia. 🤍

At the groundbreaking ceremony for the Victoria British Columbia Temple, Elder James E. Evanson shared that the temple will be “a beacon of peace” and a place where we can know that there is a God in heaven who loves us and that we are all His children.

This is a beautiful reminder that in a world that can sometimes feel uncertain or noisy, Jesus Christ offers us peace.

Temples are sacred places where we can draw closer to God, feel His love, and be reminded of our eternal identity as His children.

We’re grateful to see construction begin on another house of the Lord in Canada and for the peace and hope it will bring to individuals, families, and communities for generations to come.

Where do you find peace and feel closest to God?

☀️ Halfway through summer already!

We’d love to know—where have you found opportunities to serve in our community this summer?

Whether it’s helping a neighbour, ministering to someone in need, volunteering, or serving in your family or community, every act of kindness reflects the love of Jesus Christ.

Recently, members of a Family Home Evening group in the Lethbridge South Stake came together to collect much-needed school supplies for General Stewart School. Their generosity will help support students and staff as they prepare for a new school year.

Thank you to everyone who donated, organized, and served. Your kindness is making a difference in our community.

❤️ Serving this summer? We would love to share your story. Send us your photos and a brief description through Facebook or Instagram messages. Your simple act of service may inspire someone else to do the same.

It’s been one week since our beautiful weekend of community, generosity, and service. 🤍

Nearly 1200 people came through the doors during the Community Clothing Giveaway, and we are so grateful that with the efforts of all 5 stakes, we could help provide clothing and support to so many in our community.

This event would not have been possible without the many people who donated clothing, sorted hundreds of bags, helped set up and take down, and served throughout the weekend.

Thank you for helping make this event such a meaningful success. So many hands came together to care for others — and it showed.

Holy Week Saturday 🌿

Today we pause in a quiet space between sorrow and hope.

As you read John 14:26–27, listen for the Saviour’s promise:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you…”

What do you notice?

Where do you feel His peace?

As you ponder, consider:
🤍 Where can I find peace in Him today?
🤍 How can I bring peace into my home?
🤍 How can I be a peacemaker in my church and community?

Even in uncertainty, He offers a peace that is deeper than fear and steadier than the world.

We invite you to slow down, listen, and receive His peace this Holy Week.

Holy Week Good Friday 🤍

Today we reflect on the Saviour’s journey to Calvary—
a path marked by suffering, mercy, and perfect love.

As you read Luke 23:27–34, consider the depth of His sacrifice—
and what it invites us to offer in return.

Not out of obligation, but out of love.

As you ponder, ask yourself:
🤍 What can I let go of to come closer to Him?
🤍 What can I give—not because I have to, but because I love Him?

Take a quiet moment today to read, reflect, and draw nearer to Him.

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”

Holy Week Thursday 🤍

As we remember the Last Supper, we’re invited to reflect on the sacred gift of the sacrament.

In these quiet, holy moments, the Saviour offered a way for us to always remember Him—to come back, again and again, with willing hearts.

As you read Luke 22:7–20, take time to ponder:
What does the sacrament mean to me?
