Presence of God Inside Filipino Charismatic Community celebrated its first anniversary last April 6th 2024. The event was a huge success! We thank God for giving us this opportunity to serve Him through His church.

Filipino foods & delicacies were being served & shared by everyone. Games & raffles brings so much fun & excitement too.

This event would never be a success without the presence of our very kind & supportive parish priests - Fr. Nelson & Fr. Tom who gave us words of wisdom & blessings. We would like also to thank everyone for their undying support and generosity. May God bless us all🙏

Praying the Rosary allows us to encounter Mary and to enter the mysteries of Jesus Christ. From his Incarnation, to the Cross, to the Resurrection, we come to understand that God has revealed himself and saved us. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary, continue to inspire us to a life of discipleship.

We started the month right by doing a Block Rosary Crusade Prayers. To start with, we bring Mother Mary to Oliverio Family who humbly welcome Mama Mary in their home. Thank you Evelyn & Jason.

Our community joined the 1st Filipino Salu-salo held in St. Michael’s Parish Hall yesterday. Thank you to the Migrant Worker Community Program who invited us to be part of this fun-filled event for the Filipino Community. Our POGI community leads the opening prayer and share 2 gift baskets + cash as part of the raffle prizes. Thank you to all members who share their blessings to give and become part of service as volunteers for this remarkable event.

“For we live by Faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7

This is a well-known scripture in the Bible that we are called to live by our Faith, not by sight. Paul described the assurance of the resurrection of every believer and nonbelievers. Here, the word ‘live’ means our behaviour that we do after putting our faith in Jesus.

In the Christian life, we cannot see the promises of Christ with our naked eyes. To experience them we need to have faith and it will help us to live with God in our earthly life.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). In Christ, we have a high hope that we will reign with him in heaven. Though we cannot see heaven still we need to trust as Jesus himself says so.

Faith drives us to live in our spiritual journey and it always encourages us to believe the promises of God.

We thank you everyone for coming and sharing your faith with us! It was an amazing Sunday afternoon to be part of your life’s journey before we start the week. God bless us all🙏
