Coffeebreak Women's Bible Study

Coffeebreak Women's Bible Study Come join us for a morning of Bible study, socializing and of course coffee and a treat! Wednesday mornings 9:15-11:00. No previous Bible knowledge necessary.

Coffeebreak is a Bible study for women ages 18-100. We meet each Wednesday morning from 9:15 to 11:00 to study the Bible, and support each other in our roles as women, wives, mothers, sisters and daughters! Child care is provided for children ages 0-2. Children ages 3-6 are welcome to participate in the storyhour program - songs, a craft and a Bible story.

Hello Ladies!
After a long period of silence on this page, I wanted to let you know that we plan to meet again, this week Wednesday, September 15!
We are so excited to be meeting together for our kick-off social at 9:30am at the Langley Canadian Reformed Church.
All women welcome!

Babysitting available for 0-3 year old children, and a Story Hour program for potty trained 3-5 year old children.

As usual, in the interest of everyone's health, please do not attend if you or your child(ren) are unwell.

Coffee Break 2020 is about to begin! Finally :P
The leadership team has been working together to make preparations for this unique year of Bible Study. We will be starting the year by studying the Bible book 'Esther'.
The Langley Canadian Reformed church building is undergoing construction due to a fire earlier this year so that, alongside covid restrictions, have made it that we cannot meet there for the first portion of our study season.
Instead, we will be meeting in small groups in 3 different homes of our members. Children are still welcome and we will be taking turns babysitting in the home which your group is doing bible study.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to have shared baking as we are accustomed too. So please bring your own drinks and treats.
We will have hand sanitizer and be doing our best to follow covid guidelines. You are welcome to wear a mask if you choose, but they will not be mandatory.
If you have completed the survey that was sent out and expressed interest in attending this year you can expect an email with your group and the address of where your group will be meeting. Start time will continue to be 9:30am.

Hi ladies,
I hope you have received an email by now inviting you to join the study "Contentment" on the Ligonier website.
We are all still figuring out how this works so we are hoping to have Zoom meetings in our small groups to direct you around the website and pray together.
Next week you will be able to watch the video and do the questions on your own time. Primarily the discussion will be on the website, yet we hope to connect every so often by Zoom (to be decided with you and you leaders) to pray together and encourage one another.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
I miss seeing you all at Coffee Break. I pray that you feel the nearness of God, and that you are able to find rest in Him. When everything else has changed, know that God never changes! He is faithful still!

Hello Ladies,
We are hoping to begin an online version of Coffee Break using the free resources on the Ligonier Website. We have chosen a study called "Contentment" by Melissa Kruger.
The great thing is that there is a discussion forum on the website, so we are able to answer the questions and still share prayer requests together. We are planning to still do this in small groups to keep the coffee break feel to it.
You should be receiving an email from Linda Welfing regarding all of this in the next few days. If you are interested in joining our online study let her know and she will send you an invite to a group. If you do not receive an email in the next few days, but would like to join us, please email me your current email address and I will pass it on. ([email protected])
We are still working out kinks and figuring it all out, so please have some grace for us as we figure it all out. We pray we can continue to grow in faith and love in Jesus.

As this is online, we also have the unique opportunity to invite friends and neighbours who may be unsure of joining in person, but are interested in learning more about Jesus and contentment. If you know someone who would like to join pass on their email address to us also.

Hello ladies,
I wanted to let you all know that in light of COVID-19 our church has closed the building to all public meetings until further notice.
We would not have been meeting next week anyway, however we won’t be able to reconvene on April 1st as we had hoped.
I will keep you updated on any changes.
God bless you all in this time of fear and be assured that He is sovereign and continues to remain in control. My prayer is for you to feel at peace knowing how BIG our God is, and trust his plan.

Credo High has cancelled classes tomorrow which means we are not guaranteed a clear/salted parking lot, and apparently it's quite icy.

The snow is already coming down quickly, and the church parking lot is very icy. We are CANCELLING Coffee Break for tomorrow, January 15. Stay safe and warm.

We will continue on with Lesson 14 next week again, if weather permits.

Coffee Break starts up again this Wednesday, September 18, at 9:15am. We will be kicking off the season with our social. This year we will be starting out by studying the second part of Luke starting in chapter 9. Grab a friend or neighbour and please come and join us for bible study, baking and fellowship!·
Story Hour begins at the same time as Coffee Break and is for your 3 -5 year olds.
