Come out anytime on Saturday, Aug. 8, between 10 and 2 for a fun family event! The youth will be washing cars to raise money for their Reactivate trip, there will be free hot dogs and drinks, and we'll have some games and activities on the front yard. Everyone is welcome. And tell your friends to stop by!

Grateful to all these folks for creating a joy-filled event together! Churches all over Langley spent this afternoon picking up garbage and praying over our city. We filled ten large bags of garbage just walking up 72nd Ave. So thankful to be able to partner together in this work!

Please remember to keep the Benne family in your prayers, and see below the announcement regarding the service for Lane.

Please remember to keep the Benne family in your prayers, and see below the announcement regarding the service for Lane.

Please see this announcement and invitation below, from Hope Community Church.

As many of you have heard, Lane Benne passed away last week. After a short and intense battle with cancer, Lane is now with Christ. A Celebration of Life will be held this Thursday, March 26 at 1:00 pm at Hope Community Church. We would love for you to join us in remembering and celebrating Lane's life.

We do anticipate a full service and limited parking. Additional parking can found by the Shoppers Drug Mart across the road. For those who are unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at www.hopecommunity.ca.

"Come, thou long expected Jesus . . ." Oddly enough, that hymn was one of the first I learned as a kid. My family sang it in the dark, often snowy nights of the first Sunday of Advent as we read our own Advent liturgies.
