Please see more information below! Vision: Creating and nurturing spaces of connection with God, each other, and neighbour. The Bridge has always valued the accessibility of the gospel. Good news is meant to be shared. As ambassadors for the kingdom of God (2 Corinthians 5:20) we seek to abide in Christ and abide among our neighbour - each of these opportunities is a gift given to us, and not want

ing to squander these gifts, we seek to create and nurture those spaces in which we abide in Christ and abide with neighbour. We realize that beliefs void of practice are weak. And therefore we strive to have corresponding practices with our vision and values. Values:

Discipleship: Our purpose is to develop mature Christians - people who know God and His Word, who are united in faith and doctrine, who are aware of their God-given gifts, and who are thoroughly prepared for and engaged in service. Fellowship: In our fellowship we recognize that we are all part of Christ's body. Therefore if one member suffers, we all suffer together; if one member rejoices, we all rejoice together. We care for one another, serving one another in love. Outreach: We seek to live in such a way that all may see the Spirit of God in us. We share the joy of our salvation with our families, friends, neighbours, and coworkers. We actively seek to rescue the lost so that they can see beyond darkness into the light of God's love. Social Action: Recognizing that our God is a God of justice and compassion, we commit ourselves to live justly and compassionately in our world. This involves prayer, political action and practical care for the disadvantaged; those who are hungry, disabled, poor, prisoners, elderly, homeless and others.

Lots of events coming up in the next few weeks at the church!

For our service this Sunday, in our final conversation of the Lenten Season, we come to perhaps the rawest: death and grief. The raising of Lazarus is perhaps less about the miracle of resurrection and more about the way that each of the characters in the story experience and express faith. Together, we'll explore John 11.1-45 on Sunday. Join us at 10:00am, all are welcome!

This week we will hear from Pastor Chelsey on Luke 19.1-10. Why is there only one verse to the children's song about Zacchaeus? We sing of Jesus inviting himself over, but not about the impact the encounter with Jesus has on Zacchaeus. In fact, at every step in the story, we see that Zacchaeus is oriented towards the encounter with God. What might we learn from him?

We hope to see you at 10:00am Sunday morning, all are welcome!

Tomorrow morning we will have our Easter service! Pastor Chelsey will be preaching on 24.1-12.
In Luke's account of the resurrection, Jesus doesn't make an appearance in the Garden. I think that Jesus's absence from the scene actually helps us focus on the work of the resurrection for Christ's followers: we have to learn how to move from death to life with God by learning how to look for the living Christ where he will be found.

Join us this morning for the third Sunday of Advent!

Scripture: Luke 3.1-18

John the Baptist is a staple of the advent season. And for good reason: he was the prophet the Spirit used to prepare the way for Jesus.
There are two parts to our passage for this week. The first focuses on how John’s call to decency and ethics is a way of preparing the way for Jesus in ourselves and for others. The second is the contrast between John’s baptism and the one that God brings through Jesus and the Spirit. We’ll try to touch on both of these important points this morning!

This Sunday, Pastor Chelsey will be preaching on Mark 10: 46-52. Jesus asks Bartimaeus the same question he asked James and John last week. In fact, there is much to be appreciated about Bartimaeus and his faith. We’ll outline a number of them together on Sunday. Listen to our Lord’s Supper reflection song to get your reflection started! It’s called “Son of David”, by Ghost Ship.
