The Willows is a community of people who are exploring what it means to be in a relationship with God through an intimate understanding of
the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus came that we might: “have life, and have it abundantly.” He is the only way to a life that is whole: mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Therefore we desire to communicate the teachings and mission of Jesus in a way that is culturally relevant, while at the same time being honest and real about who we are, and how we need to be transformed by him. Ultimately we believe that honest relationships allow others to encourage us towards a life that reflects the person of Jesus and aids in our restoration and healing. The Willows has a weekly Sunday gathering which is intentionally relaxed, allowing people to come to church just the way they are. We have a time of worship through song, prayer, teaching, reflection and conversation - connecting with old friends and welcoming new ones. Children’s programming is full of activities and teaching that allows them to explore Christ in a way that is relevant to their life’s experiences using the Orange Curriculum, offering classes Sunday mornings for Preschool age 3 - Gr. 7. Our new Family Life Centre offers holistic care to families in the Langley community through a range of programs including Pathway of Hope case management and provides many avenues of service and opportunities for discipleship and mentoring.
