On Sunday, September 6, we’re moving to fall service times of: 8:45am, 10:15am, and 11:45am.

Kids@TheFort will gather at 8:45am & 10:15am, with our nursery (ages 0–2) available during those services as well.

Our Willoughby location will gather on Sundays at 10:30am, starting September 20.

This Sunday, Dave teaches in a new three-week series called "Adventure: Wherever Jesus Goes." Following Jesus isn't about escaping the ordinary but the discovery that, with Jesus, every ordinary day holds the potential for the extraordinary. This fall, don't settle for anything less. Because of our value of Generosity, Living Waters has always been a room-making community. On Sunday, September 6, we’re moving to fall service times of 8:45am, 10:15am, and 11:45am.

Kids@TheFort will gather at 8:45am & 10:15am, with our nursery (ages 0–2) available during those services as well.

Our Willoughby location will gather on Sundays at 10:30am, beginning September 20, at the Focus on the Family building.

If you’ve customarily joined us for the second service, consider the 8:45am or 11:45am as an option this fall when able. We also hope this adjustment adds incentive for more families to join us for the 8:45am service, making Kids@TheFort a little roomier in the 10:15am service.

Thanks for making our church a more hospitable and helpful place — we’re looking forward to a great fall together!

Water baptism is a significant step in our faith journey. It's a public demonstration of our faith that Jesus models in the New Testament, and is symbolic of cleansing, death and resurrection. This Sunday, Luke Knight teaches on water baptism, and we’ll hear stories from those in our community being baptized!

Water baptism is a significant step in our faith journey. It's a public demonstration of our faith that Jesus models in the New Testament, and is symbolic of cleansing, death and resurrection.

This Sunday, Luke Knight teaches on water baptism, and we’ll be hearing stories from those in our community being baptized! Between our two morning services, come walk with us from Living Waters to the Marina Park boat launch to cheer on those getting baptized.

Join our team! As a community, we continue to consider the many opportunities in front of us to serve in the Willoughby area. We continue to recognize the importance of prioritizing the needs of children and those who are newer to Canada.

With this in mind, we are excited to share a new Program Director position on our Ministry Team who will lead our teams and ministries in the area of Willoughby Kids and English Conversation Club.

As we prepare to begin our Sunday gatherings in Willoughby, we want to invite you to a couple of events leading up to the launch!

• Willoughby Together: Sunday, September 6 at 4:30pm at Living Waters Church
• Willoughby Prayer Night: Sunday, September 13 at 7:00pm at Focus on the Family
• Willoughby Gatherings: Beginning Sunday, September 20 at 10:30am at Focus on the Family

Stepping into this new season, we want to be led by the Holy Spirit and carried by the prayers of our church. More than strategies or programs, we want to start from a place of prayer, dependence on God, and a shared desire to see His kingdom come in Willoughby. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or are new to our community, there's room for you.

I Am / We Are • Conclusion & Discussion

Jesus’ seven statements about himself (as recorded in John’s gospel) creatively and clearly reveal his true identity, character and purpose. When we see Jesus more clearly, we can also expect to receive more clarity on our own identity, character and purpose. Rooted in Jesus’ own self-descriptions, we humans then find ourselves defined. This summer, we’ve explored these famous and transformative images from Jesus, hearing from seven different voices in our church.

Today, we conclude by hearing from Mike Vaters and a discussion with two members of our community, sharing how our knowing about Jesus (our knowledge) moves toward knowing Jesus and the fullness of his Spirit (experience).

This Sunday, Mike Vaters concludes our I Am / We Are series, where we’ve explored the famous “I Am” statements from Jesus. This week, we discuss how knowledge can be deepened from our heads to our hearts, as we experience Jesus and his Holy Spirit.

We also invite you to join our whole church community for a free summer BBQ on this Sunday at 12:00pm! Meet at the Fort Langley Park for a BBQ lunch. Enjoy organized games, live music, and the kids' playground & water park. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on, and we'll take care of the rest!

It's going to be an amazing Sunday full of worship, prayer, and community, and we can't wait to see you! Service times at 8:45am and 10:30am.
