The CEILIDH at UCoL - St. Andrew's in Fort Langley last night was truly memorable! The music was lovely, featuring well-known favourites from the 50s and 60s performed by talented local musicians Ron Star, Susan Falk, Emil Johnson, Rough & Rocky, Dave Linker and Bob Page & Co. The atmosphere was great, the newly renovated church hall was full and looked amazing! All in all, it was a wonderful evening for everyone in attendance.

For the next two months, we will be looking at how we meet Jesus on the road of life, how we recognize his presence, and how we are surprised, comforted and challenged in our faith journey.

Each week will focus on a different aspect of Jesus’ life in the gospel accounts, the way he related to people in the first century, and what that means for us today. In most sessions, we will also open our hymnbooks and take a look at how we “sing the gospel” in worship. (Don’t worry – you won’t have to sing in tune).

Come and join us when you are able. If you want to be included on the email list, please let the church office know.

Promises made; promises fulfilled. That is the truth about this special day in the Christian calendar. Christ promised, time and again, that he would rise – that he would live again. In their grief and sorrow, his closest disciples could not remember this; they could not hear or see this. And yet, he lives!

Come celebrate the hope of resurrection and the promises of the Christ fulfilled on Easter Sunday morning.

When we consider the last beatitude, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,” and the promise of the Kingdom of Heaven, we see in it that Christian life is always an imitation of Christ. As disciples, we “Put on Christ” and are called to be Cross-Bearers with him, with the foundation of the new consciousness cultivated by integrating the Mountaintop Wisdom of the Beatitudes.

Join us at 10:30am this Palm Sunday.

Again this Good Friday, we will join other churches in Fort Langley for the Stations of the Cross walk. Together, we will journey through the story of the final events of Jesus’ life, pausing at each station to reflect, pray, and sing in response to His suffering and love.
All are welcome to come and walk with us as we remember Christ’s sacrifice and prepare for Easter.

On Good Friday, April 3, 2026, United Churches of Langley will join the other churches of Fort Langley to remember and reflect on the events of Good Friday. This is a movable service, located at different stations around Fort Langley. Each station includes a Passion reading, prayer, and music....
