What Can Jesus Do With a Willing Heart? ❤️‍🔥

The greatest miracle in this story wasn’t 153 fish.

It was Peter.
At one fire, Peter said:
“I don’t know Him.”
At another, he said:
“Lord, You know that I love You.”

Jesus didn’t throw Peter away because he failed.
He restored him, reshaped him. and gave him purpose again.
That’s what Jesus can do with a willing heart.

And your heart doesn’t have to arrive perfect.
It can be anxious, worried, heavy, joyful, and unsure.
Just bring it.

You don’t have to wait until you’re older.
You don’t have to wait until you’re stronger.
Jesus can begin with the heart you’re willing to give Him today.

When the Nets Are Empty 🎣🙏

They had been fishing all night.
Eight hours of effort; casting; waiting; trying again.
And…nothing.

Maybe you know that feeling.
You’ve prayed, you’ve worked, you’ve stayed faithful.
but the net still feels empty.

Then Jesus speaks:
“Throw your net on the right side.”
And suddenly everything changes.

The miracle didn’t mean
following Jesus would always be easy.
It reminded them that even when
they couldn’t see the outcome,
they could still trust His voice.

Your responsibility isn’t
to guarantee the catch.
It’s to listen when Jesus speaks
and obey when He calls.

💬 If you’re in an empty-net season, don’t give up. Keep listening for Jesus.

Jesus Is Already on the Road 🛤️❤️

Maybe you can’t see Jesus right now.
Maybe you don’t understand what God is doing.

Neither did Cleopas.
He was walking away disappointed, confused, and uncertain of what came next.
But the beautiful part is that Jesus was already walking beside him before he recognized Him.

Maybe the same is true for you.
The risen Jesus knows exactly how to meet you on the road you’re walking.
And when you finally recognize who has been walking beside you, you begin to see the road differently.
You begin to walk it differently.

And the road you once used to walk away from God
can become the very story you use to lead others back to Him.

💬 If you’re walking through uncertainty today, remember: Jesus may be closer than you think.

When God Disappoints You 💔✝️

Sometimes the hardest moments of faith come when God doesn’t do what we expected Him to do.

We prayed.
We trusted.
We waited.

And things still didn’t go the way we hoped.

That disappointment can quickly become disillusionment with God.

But the road to Emmaus offers another possibility:

What if the moment you thought proved God had failed…
was actually a moment you misunderstood what He was doing?

Sometimes Jesus doesn’t immediately change the situation.
Instead, He meets us in it and changes the way we see it.

Sometimes what needs correcting isn’t our belief in God’s character,
it’s the expectations we attached to His character.

Would You Break Bread with Judas? 🍞

The theology you serve is revealed by who you set your table for.
If we only welcome people we like, agree with,
and get along with then we’re building a clique, not a church.

Because Jesus didn’t just break bread with His friends.
He broke bread with Judas.
The one who would betray Him still had a seat at His table.

That’s the uncomfortable challenge of grace.
We want to carry the name of Christ without carrying the cross.
We want His Kingdom without surrendering our own.
But following Jesus means learning to set our tables like He set His.

Grace Sets a Bigger Table 🍽️✝️

The table of Jesus was never set for perfect people.

Peter would deny Him.
Matthew had collected taxes for an occupying empire.
And Judas?
Judas would betray Him to the cross that very night.

Jesus knew all of this and still gave them a seat.
Because His table was an extension of His grace.

It welcomed flawed disciples.
It welcomed outsiders.
It even welcomed enemies.

So here’s the uncomfortable question:
If Jesus could break bread with the person who would betray Him,
why should our tables be any different?

💬 Ask Jesus to show you someone you’ve struggled to welcome and make room.

God’s Table Is Bigger 🍽️❤️

Jesus has a way of noticing the people everyone else walks past.

The excluded.
The different.
The uncomfortable.
The people we quietly decide
don’t belong at the table.

But God’s grace has always been bigger than our boundaries.

So maybe the question isn’t:
“Do they belong here?”

Maybe it’s:
“Why have I decided they don’t?”

Because the people we overlook often become the people Jesus is looking for.
May our tables become as wide as the grace that gave us a seat.

Ask God to show you one person you’ve been overlooking—and make room.

Stop Guarding the Guest List 🚪🍞

We were never called to be the bouncers at God’s banquet.

We don’t decide who is worthy.
We don’t control who receives mercy.
We don’t own the table.

Why? Because we couldn’t afford our seat either.

Jesus paid the cost. We were simply invited.
And guests who couldn’t pay the cost to be the host have no business guarding the guest list.

Our job is much simpler:
Go into the world and tell people,
“Come. There’s room for you. Everything is ready.”

May we become a church known less for guarding the doors and more for showing people the way in.

More Than a Meal 🍽️❤️

When Jesus fed the crowd, He didn’t just give them food.
He had them sit together in smaller groups.

Why?

Because spiritual growth doesn’t only happen by listening.
It happens through connection.

Through conversation.
Through questions.
Through prayer.
Through people supporting one another.

And sometimes the simplest place for that to happen is around a table.
When you share a meal with someone, you’re doing more than eating.
You’re creating space to be known.

Because we weren’t designed to follow Jesus alone.
