The Substitutionary Servant: Now We Know
Isaiah 53:4

For centuries, many looked at the suffering of Jesus and reached the wrong conclusion.

They thought God was punishing Him.

They thought He was suffering for His own sins.

They thought the Cross proved He was not the Messiah.

But Isaiah 53 records a future confession that begins with a single word:

"Surely..."

It is the moment everything changes.

Join us this Sunday at 11AM at Churchbridge, Church of God as we explore Isaiah 53:4 and discover why the suffering Servant was not dying for His sins, but for ours.

Come discover why one small word, "Surely," changes everything.

πŸ“– This Sunday: The Rejected Servant (Isaiah 53:1-3)

"Who has believed our report?" (Isaiah 53:1)

Isaiah 53 is one of the most remarkable chapters in all of Scripture. It tells the story of a Servant who was promised, proclaimed, and yet rejected.

Why?

Not because the evidence was lacking.

Not because the prophecies were unclear.

But because He wasn't the Messiah people expected.

They wanted a King to deliver them from Rome.

God sent a Savior to deliver them from sin.

This Sunday we'll explore:
πŸ”Ή The report they rejected
πŸ”Ή The Servant they rejected
πŸ”Ή The reason they rejected Him

And we'll discover that the greatest obstacle to faith is often not a lack of information, but the assumption that we already know enough.

Join us as we continue our journey through Isaiah's great Servant Song and meet The Rejected Servant... the Savior they needed, but did not recognize.

THE EXALTED SERVANT
Once Marred. Now Magnified.

πŸ“– Isaiah 52:13–15

For many people, Isaiah 53 begins with suffering.

But Isaiah begins somewhere else.

Before he tells us about the rejection of the Servant... Before he tells us about the wounds of the Servant... Before he tells us about the death of the Servant...

He tells us about the victory of the Servant.

β€œBehold, My Servant shall prosper; He shall be high and lifted up, and greatly exalted.”

This Sunday we continue our study of Isaiah by taking a closer look at the opening verses of the Fourth Servant Songβ€”the passage many have called The Fifth Gospel.

We'll discover a surprising truth:

The cross was not a failure. The suffering of Christ was not an accident. The Servant came to accomplish the Father's purposeβ€”and He succeeded.

Join us at Churchbridge, Church of God at 11AM as we behold the Servant who was once marred beyond recognition, but is now exalted above every name.

BEHOLD MY SERVANT

The Gospel According to Isaiah
How Can a Sinner Be Right With God?
πŸ“– Isaiah 52:13–53:12

Over the last two years, we've walked together through Isaiah.

We've seen God's holiness, His sovereignty, His faithfulness, and His comfort. We've watched as Isaiah slowly unveiled the Servant of the Lord.

Now we arrive at what many consider the mountain peak of the entire book.

Isaiah 53 has been called:

The Fifth Gospel
The Golden Passion of the Old Testament
The Mount Everest of Messianic Prophecy

Written more than 700 years before the birth of Christ, this passage speaks of His suffering, His rejection, His death, and His triumph with astonishing clarity.

One scholar said it reads as though it were written at the foot of the cross itself.

This Sunday, we will begin a careful journey through one of the most significant passages in all of Scripture. Before we explore its depths in the weeks ahead, we'll step back and behold the whole portrait of the Servant and consider the question at the heart of the Christian faith:

How can a sinner be right with God?

Join us at Churchbridge, Church of God on Sunday at 11AM as we open God's Word and behold the Servant who came to save.

WAKE UP! πŸ“–

Have you ever felt stuck?

Stuck in regret. Stuck in disappointment. Stuck reliving yesterday's failures.

In Isaiah 51:17-52:12, God calls His people to wake up.

The cup of judgment has been removed. The chains have been broken. The road home is open.

Now it's time to stop living like captives and start living like the redeemed.

Join us this Sunday at 11AM at Churchbridge, Church of God as we continue our journey through Isaiah.

LISTEN UP! πŸ“–

Have you ever known God's promises were true, yet still struggled because they seemed so far away?

Israel did.

Jerusalem was still in ruins. The faithful remnant was discouraged. The future seemed uncertain.

So God didn't give them a new promise.

He reminded them of the promises they already had.

This Sunday we'll explore Isaiah 51:1-16 and discover how God strengthens weary faith by calling His people to:

βœ… Remember His faithfulness
βœ… Trust His promises
βœ… Rest in His comfort

When faith grows weak, God says:

"Listen to Me."

Join us this Sunday at 11AM at Churchbridge, Church of God as we continue our journey through Isaiah.

Our world is shifting fast β€” but God’s Word has not moved an inch.

Many voices claim authority today β€” science, culture, experts, influencers. But only one foundation can hold the weight of truth.

Psalm 11:3 asks: β€œIf the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

What is the foundation?

Join us at Churchbridge, Church of God on Sunday at 11AM for our message called, "The Foundation."

Two roads stretch before every soul β€” one glowing with promise, the other flickering with illusion.

The light we chase reveals the truth we serve.

Join us on Sunday at 11AM at Churchbridge, Church of God as we look at Isaiah 50:1‑11 β€” A Choice of Light; Not a Light Choice.
