Who is welcome? All are welcome!!! Winfield United Church is in the process of becoming an Affirming Congregation through the process developed through the United Church of Canada and Affirm United / S'affimer Ensemble.

The United Church has long been a proponent for being fully inclusive. It is sometimes difficult to find words to respond when others argue against inclusion. The attached article by Susan Lukey, editor of GatheringWorship.ca gives a bit of perspective on responding to people who feel "called" to object to inclusion.
