The Lacombe Composite High School football field is called ME Global Field. There is Plenty of parking around the field.

There will be a Pancake breakfast 8-9:30 served in the parking lot and you can eat in the field grounds.

Then church service is at 10 AM.

Happy Canada Day!

From Sea to Sea: Canada's coat of arms bears the Latin motto A Mari Usque Ad Mare. This translates to "From Sea to Sea." It is taken directly from the Bible in Psalm 72:8. Hebrews 11

The motto for the Order of Canada is Desiderantes meliorem patriam, which translates to "They desire a better country." This comes from Hebrews 11:16.

Parliament Hill Carvings The Peace Tower: Bible verses are carved directly into Canada's Parliament buildings in Ottawa. For example, the south window of the Peace Tower displays the text of Psalm 72:1.

Speaker's Chamber: Above the entrance to the Speaker's Chamber is a reminder based on 1 Peter 2:17: "Fear God. Honour the king".

Law and Society Charter of Rights: The preamble to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms recognizes the "supremacy of God".

Social Safety Net: In the 19th and 20th centuries, Christian churches set up the first hospitals, orphanages, and schools. Early laws, like the Lord's Day Act, also enforced Sunday as a biblical day of rest.
