~Switzerland: A Glimpse of Heaven on Earth~

Switzerland has always been my number one bucket list.
A dream I carried quietly in my heart.
And one day — by God’s grace — that dream became real.

As I stepped into this beautiful country, I was overwhelmed.
The Swiss mountains stood like silent giants,
the waterfalls poured like heaven’s music,
the crystal blue waters reflected the sky,
and the green landscapes felt untouched, pure, and alive.

It felt unreal.
Like I was walking inside a dream I once only imagined.

And in that moment, I whispered:
“Lord, You are such a creative God.”

Switzerland is breathtaking — but even this is just a tiny glimpse of what God can do.

This place reminded me of something deeper:
If my heart can long so much for a place on earth,
how much more should it long for the place God Himself is preparing?

“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived— the things God has prepared for those who love Him.”
— 1 Corinthians 2:9

Switzerland shows us beauty.
But Heaven promises perfection.
Switzerland has peace.
But Heaven has eternal rest.
Switzerland has breathtaking views.
But Heaven has the presence of God Himself.

Here on earth, we dream of destinations,
we save money, make plans, create bucket lists.
But God gently reminds us:
this world is not our final home.

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
— Philippians 3:20

As I stood before the mountains and waterfalls, I realized:
If God can create something this beautiful in a broken world,
what must Heaven look like — a world with no pain, no tears, no goodbyes?

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
— Revelation 21:4

Switzerland fulfilled a dream.
But Heaven fulfills a promise.

Earth gives us moments.
Heaven gives us eternity.

So yes, I am grateful for Switzerland — deeply grateful.
It is one of the most beautiful gifts I’ve ever experienced.
But more than that, it reminded me not to settle my heart here.

This world is a preview.
Heaven is the real destination.

And the greatest joy is knowing:
The same God who painted the Swiss mountains
is the same God preparing our heavenly home.

💭Monaco and the Reminder of True Riches💭

When I visited Monaco, I couldn’t help but feel amazed. The lavish houses, luxury cars, and beautiful yachts were truly impressive. And human as I am, I found myself dreaming too — of a good, comfortable, and prosperous life.

But in that moment of admiration, I was gently reminded of Jesus.

Jesus was rich in heaven, clothed in glory and majesty, yet He chose to come down to earth — not to live in a palace, but to walk among the poor, the broken, and the lost. He gave up heavenly riches and embraced the cross for our sake.

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.” — 2 Corinthians 8:9

The world offers luxury.
Jesus offers life.

The world promises comfort for a moment.
Jesus promises eternity forever.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy… But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” — Matthew 6:19–20

Monaco shows us what money can buy.
The cross shows us what love can give.

Jesus did not promise us a lavish lifestyle, but He promised us something far greater:

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” — John 11:25

And He reminds us:

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” — Mark 8:36

✨ Reflection:
It’s not wrong to dream of a better life.
But the greatest dream is not wealth on earth —
it is a home in heaven.

Because one day, all the yachts, mansions, and gold will fade.
But the life Jesus gives will never end.

“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.” — Lamentations 3:24

True riches are not what we own,
but Who we belong to.
