Please note we are not running this event, just sharing it!
Take a plant, leaf a plant! Come join in the fun and meet some of your gardening neighbours. We will have space for you to chat about plants with others who enjoy gardening.
Plants can be dropped off starting at 9:30am.
How to participate:
1. Pick a plant to swap.
2. When digging up a plant from your garden, remove it from the soil, and shake off the excess. Ideally, place the plant in a clean pot, using bagged potting soil. This helps avoid the transfer of weeds, mites, and other problems.
3. Bring as much information as possible to fill out the plant tag (name, habits, key care information). If you aren’t sure, think about where in the yard the plant was growing.
The day of the swap:
· If you drop off 1 plant to the swap, you can take 1 plant. If you bring 3, you can take 3.
· Selection will be first come, first served, and based on the honour system.
· New to gardening and no plants to swap? If plants are left at the end of the swap, they will be available first come, first serve.
