Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God! As believers our baseline must be believing that God exists and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)!

God expects us to believe Him! We have to make a decision to believe in spite of what we see and choose to trust in the God who never fails and is always faithful!

Let’s continue to remind ourselves to believe the report of the Lord!

📖 Scriptures to meditate on:

Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Mark 5:36 - As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

John 6:29 - Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

Our words and actions of faith cause us to possess what God has already given us!

Despite what it looks like, when we choose to hold on to what God has already said concerning us, confess it and believe it, we are operating in faith!

This is how we possess our possessions.

📖 Scriptures to meditate on:

Numbers 13:30 - And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Psalms 112:7 - He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.

Fear can cause us to shift our gaze from God to idolizing things that lead to destruction.

We have to remember to put God in his rightful place and everything else will be taken care of!

1 John 2:15-17 -  Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Mathew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.
