Seeking God transforms our lives and situations from the inside out!

When we magnify God, our problems become smaller. Through spending time with Him, our minds are renewed and our situations change!

Let’s remember to go to God first in all that what we do!

📖 Scriptures to meditate on:

Matthew 6:33 -  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Psalm 37:4-5 - Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5  Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Romans 12:2 - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Deuteronomy 8:11 - Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His ents, and His statutes which I command you today

With God, we are never alone!

The Holy Spirit is always helping us. The Bible says, “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong’” (Joel 3:10). We can be confident that even at our lowest, the grace of God remains strong.

When we rely on God, we receive strength and power from within to stand, fight, and remain victorious against the works of the enemy.

📖 Scriptures to meditate on:

Deuteronomy 31:8 -  And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Matthew 28:20 - teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I amwith you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

John 14:16-18 - And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Romans 8:26-27 - Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:31 -  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

God knows the best paths for us take and will lead us accordingly!

Between the time we believe God for something and the moment it comes to pass, there is a process we can’t avoid — one where God develops us, strengthens our faith, and builds the character needed to sustain what we’re about to be entrusted with.

Don’t despise the process, trust God through it!

📖 Scripture to meditate on:

Exodus 13:17-18 - Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them byway of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.” 18 So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 23:28-30 - And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you. 29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. 30 Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land.

Deuteronomy 7:22 - And the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you little by little; you will be unable to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you.

James 1:2-4 - My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

As Christians, we are blessed to be a blessing!

Jesus set the ultimate example for us of how to live our lives — by serving!

We should always have a heart posture that is willing and ready to help others, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ!

📖 Scriptures to meditate on:

Galatians 6:7 - Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Acts 20:35 - I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Proverbs 11:24-25 - There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. 25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

Hebrews 13:1-2 - Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

Hebrews 13:16 - But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

1 Timothy 6:18 - Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share

Mark 10:43-45 - Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. 44 And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Galatians 6:10 - Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Matthew 25:38-40 - When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

God is not condemning you!

When we repent and confess our sins to God, He forgives us. He does not continue to hold our sins over our head.

We must always remember that as believers, we are the righteousness of God in Christ! We don’t have to walk in shame when God has already forgiven us!

Let’s start walking in the freedom of His forgiveness!

📖 Scriptures to meditate on:

Romans 8:1-2 - There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:34 - Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Romans 2:4 - Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

John 3:17 - For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Our Night of Faith, at Markham, on May 2nd, was a great time in the Word and the Holy Spirit. We experienced the anointing of the Spirit through revelation knowledge of the Word, healings and deliverance. Jesus was indeed glorified and His holy people edified.

Our thanks go to Dawn Forsyth, the great people at Christian Cafe and our partners and friends who came from far and near to be part of the seminar!
