Sometimes Father’s Day doesn’t get the attention it deserves, but here at Bethany, we honour and celebrate fathers because we know they are a strong foundation in the home and in the family.

Today we celebrate a shepherd, leader, and father in the faith.
Thank you, Pastor, for your prayers, sacrifice, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to God’s people. Thank you for pouring into people, leading with vision, and pointing us continually to Jesus. May this new year be filled with grace, strength, favour, and fresh oil from heaven.

Pastor Anthony Does will speak about “The Cost of Pentecost” by reminding us that Acts 2 is not just a moment in history of supernatural power, but the fulfillment of a promise to a people who had endured much fear and confusion after the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

Before the sound of rushing wind and tongues of fire, there was a room marked by unity, hearts aligned, offenses released, and pride laid down. This message challenges us to recognize that God moves powerfully where true unity exists, not just a physical gathering, but spiritual and relational oneness.

When we give, we’re saying, God, have my heart. We honor God as King of our lives, the first priority in our hearts by giving the first 10% of our income, which continues the ministries of the church enabling worship, discipleship, baptism, outreach, and next generation ministries to thrive.
