The Gathering Church

05/15/2026

We will not be meeting for worship this Sunday morning, as we take time to rest and enjoy the long weekend.

09/25/2025

Join us … October at The Gathering Church, Kitchener.

07/31/2025

Join us … August at The Gathering Church, Kitchener.

06/20/2025

Join us this Sunday as we wrap up our Faith Under Construction Series and our ministry year.

In Nehemiah, we read about the joy and strength the people experienced as the wall was completed.

This Sunday we will celebrate the many ways that participation in the life of the church helps to strengthen us and our neighbours.

We’ll look at how we can be God’s wall for others and how we can invite others to stand with us in hope and strength when we are seeking “a wall of God’.

06/05/2025

This Sunday, June 8th, we will gather for worship and fellowship at Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp, New Hamburg.

We will meet from 3:00 to 7:00pm for play, worship service and dinner together.

We will not be meeting for our 10:30 morning worship service on June 8th.

Here are the lyrics for the songs that we will sing together tomorrow:

Rise

Lead us to You
Show us Your mercy
Your majesty lifted up on high
It tells of Your goodness

Your name is true
Your name is holy
Your splendor is written in the skies
It tells of Your greatness

We will rise to praise You
Offer our lives before You
Let ev'ry nation all of creation
We will rise You are worthy
Lift up our eyes to Your glory
Let ev'ry nation all of creation
We will rise

We stand in awe
You won the vict'ry
Your enemies tremble at Your name
It speaks of Your triumph

You clothe the poor
You mend the broken
You heal our hearts You take our shame
It speaks of Your kindness

We will rise to praise You
Offer our lives before You
Let ev'ry nation all of creation
We will rise You are worthy
Lift up our eyes to Your glory
Let ev'ry nation all of creation
We will rise

We will cry out Your renown
You are the God who has saved us
We will rise to praise You
We lift a glorious sound
You are the One who redeemed us
We will rise to praise You

We will rise to praise You
Offer our lives before You
Let ev'ry nation all of creation
We will rise You are worthy
Lift up our eyes to Your glory
Let ev'ry nation all of creation
We will rise

The Kingdom is Yours

Blessed are the ones who do not bury
All the broken pieces of their heart
Blessed are the tears of all the weary
Pouring like a sky of falling stars

Blessed are the wounded ones
In mourning
Brave enough to show
The Lord their scars
Blessed are the hurts
That are not hidden
Open to the healing touch of God

The kingdom is yours
The kingdom is yours
Hold on a little more this is not the end
Hope is in the Lord
Keep your eyes on Him

Blessed are the ones
Who walk in kindness
Even in the face of great abuse
Blessed are the deed that go unnoticed
Serving with unguarded gratitude

Blessed are the ones
Who fight for justice
Longing for the coming day of peace
Blessed is the soul
That thirsts for righteousness
Welcoming the last the lost the least

The kingdom is yours
The kingdom is yours
Hold on a little more this is not the end
Hope is in the Lord
Keep your eyes on Him
(Repeat)

Blessed are the ones
Who suffer violence
And still have strength
To love their enemies
Blessed is the faith
Of those who persevere
Though they fall they'll
Never know defeat

The kingdom is yours
The kingdom is yours
Hold on a little more this is not the end
Hope is in the Lord
Keep your eyes on Him

Heart of God

Here I stand before You now
As honestly as I know how
Broken by the days gone by
Spirit help my soul to rise

I try my best but still I fail
And even then You're with me there
You remind me I’m a child of God
Regardless of the things I’ve done
My hope is found in perfect love

Your mercy triumphs over judgment
Love wider than horizons
Stronger than all sin
Lord Your kindness
Leads us to repentance
To the heart of God
Your heart oh God
Is all I want

Oh they say that it's impossible
To ever save a sinner’s soul
But my God says to the prodigal
My beloved one You're welcome home

All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live oh

Make Room

Here is where I lay it down
Every burden every crown
This is my surrender
This is my surrender
Here is where I lay it down
Every lie and every doubt
This is my surrender

And I will make room for you
To do whatever you want to
To do whatever you want to
And I will make room for you
To do whatever you want to
To do whatever you want to

Shake up the ground of all my tradition
Break down the walls of all my religion
Your way is better
Your way is better

Take My Life

Take my life and let it be
Consecrated Lord to Thee
Take my moments and my days
Let them flow in ceaseless praise
Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee

Take my voice and let me sing
Always only for my King
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee
Take my silver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold
Take my intellect and use
Ev'ry power as You choose

Here am I all of me
Take my life it's all for Thee

Take my will and make it Thine
It shall be no longer mine
Take my heart it is Thine own
It shall be Thy royal throne
Take my love my Lord I pour
At Your feet its treasure store
Take myself and I will be
Ever only all for Thee

Here am I all of me
Take my life it's all for Thee
(Repeat)
