Our history in Kitchener can be traced over a period of more than 104 years. We take no particular name other than those found in the Bible such as Christians, believers, brethren, etc. (Acts 11.26; Acts 28.14; 1 Tim. 4.12). We have responded to God's gospel message of salvation through faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross (Eph. 2:8-9) and we have been gathered by Him and to His Name
(Acts 2:41, 42; Matt. 18.20). We believe in one God Who is fully expressed in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Man was created in God's own image but because of Adam's disobedience, is born with a sinful nature. He is morally corrupt and estranged from God. God so loved the world that He initiated a plan of redemption through the incarnation (John 3:16). The Lord Jesus Christ by His voluntary, substitutionary death and bodily resurrection provided the basis for our justification and salvation, which is received by grace through faith. The Holy Spirit dwells in all believers empowering them for worship and service. We also believe that the Bible is the infallible and unchanging Word of God, and we submit to its authority in all matters regarding life, death, and eternity.
