Martyrdom of Imam Sajjad (AS)

We will commemorate the martyrdomof Imam Ali bin Al-Hussain Zain Al Abideen (AS) on Friday July 10 starting 8:00pm.

8:25 - Speech by Sheikh Ahmadi
8:55 - Latmiya
9:12- Maghribain Prayers
9:30 - Dinner

“Those who do not thank the created, do not thank The Creator”

First, we thank Allah (SWT) for giving us the opportunity to commemorate the martyrdom of Sayyid Alshohada’a Abi Abdillah Al-Hussain (AS) again this year.

Second, we thank Maulana Mohsin Jaffery and his family for accepting our invitation and reside with us for the past holy nights, and for the fruitful and well prepared lectures/speeches.

Third, we thank all the momineen and mominat in this blessed community who supported the program in our Hussainya by attending, cooperating with volunteers, donating and sponsoring nightly dinner. May Allah (SWT) reward you for your contributions.

Fourth, we thank all the volunteers and reciters who made sure the program runs smoothly. May Allah (SWT) bless you with being khuddam Al-Hussain (AS) every year. Special thanks to brothers Habibullah and Sajjad for nightly dinner preparation and maintaining and cleaning the Hussainya.

Fifth, we thank our dear neighbour John for opening his parking lot for the community use. We encourage brothers to support his business and get their haircuts there.

Last, we ask Allah (SWT) to give us the tawfeeq to be able to have majalis Al-Hussain (AS) next year, and ever

May Allah (SWT) grant us ziyarat of Imam Hussain (AS) in this life, and shafa’at of Imam Hussain (AS) in the hereafter.
