12 days. 250 miles. No cell service.
Bears. Mountains. Plants she'd never seen before.
Dr. Rahel backpacked the northern half of the Pacific Crest Trail through Washington state, and came back with something she wasn't expecting.
Not just stronger legs.
A deeper conviction that caring for this planet is not just science.
It's a calling.
"It's okay to have questions. That's part of the joy. I don't have to have all the answers."

It is with deep sadness that we share the funeral arrangements for Isimbi, a beloved young member of our Kingston Seventh-day Adventist Church family.

Isimbi will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her vibrant personality, and the joy she brought to those around her. She was a young woman with so many dreams, hopes, and plans for the future. Her life was tragically cut short in an accident, leaving a deep sorrow in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Donations to assist the family with funeral expenses are gratefully welcomed. We also ask that you continue to keep Isimbi’s family and loved ones in your prayers during this very difficult time.

Even in the midst of profound grief, we hold on to the hope we have in Christ, the promise that death will not have the final word, and that one day God will make all things new.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
Revelation 21:4

Until that day, we remember Isimbi with love, gratitude, and hope in the promise of the resurrection ❤️

When Shahin became a Christian, his family was furious.
They threatened him. His own brother physically came after him.
He didn't argue back. He didn't force anyone.
He just fasted. Prayed. And let Jesus live through him.
One by one, his family members came to know Jesus.
"They didn't become Christians because I twisted their arms. They became Christians because they saw Jesus in me."
