3) THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped make last Sunday's Archbishop's Visit, Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, Luncheon and the Mortgage Burning a HUGE success -- to the Glory of our Loving Adorable Merciful Almighty God. After giving thanks to God, we want to give thanks to all of you: Thank you to those who sang, chanted, read, served in the altar, cleaned, gardened, donated, cooked, baked, prepared and offered the flowers and special bread and the prosphora, donated the food, prepared the food, served the food, and cleaned up afterwards. Special thanks to our food coordinator for the event: Michelle Fourie. And thanks to Paul Brendan for his photography.

4) A slideshow of LAST WEEKEND's festivities will be SHOWN this Sunday, at Coffee Hour, on a continuous loop...on the big screen.

5) Good Attendance LAST WEEK: There were 100 people in attendance, plus about 8 on Zoom, bringing the total to 108. For many of our newcomers, this is the first time they saw a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. This is the first time they saw the ancient pattern of the Church in worship, as we assemble with our archpastor -- the successor to the Apostles -- and stand before the Throne of God, offering the Most Holy Trinity thanks and true orthodoxia, true worship. Good job, Choir Members! The Archbishop's Deacon paid you a high compliment!

6) OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT -- 😇☦️ NOTIFICATION and INVITATION to attend our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) for St Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Church to be held in church on Sunday, 07 JUNE 2026 (Raindate is June 21st) at the end of the 10am Divine Liturgy. Father Andrew is inviting the catechumens to stay and watch. We will conduct the AGM as we did last year, which worked out nicely. We will take attendance in the church nave before we venerate the Holy Cross. In place of the sermon, Father will give his Annual Pastor's Report. Then we will all venerate the Holy Cross and proceed downstairs for a 20 minute recess, allowing time for a quick coffee while Fr. Andrew consumes the Holy Gifts. Then we will re-start the Meeting downstairs.

1) Many Volunteers are NEEDED for our Spring Cemetery cleanup. Target date and time is May 2nd at 9:00am. Many hands make light work. Bring your gloves and work clothing. Isaiah Pittman will be in charge.

2) Board Meeting, today, at coffee hour. Very short.

3) Regular monthly Board Meeting, Monday, 04 May 2026, on Zoom, 7pm.

4) MORTGAGE BURNING - at the Archbishop's Visit, May 10. Everyone is INVITED. There will be a Special Luncheon. Please consider bringing something. There will be CHOIR PRACTICES for the Hierarchical DIvine Liturgy.

5) Announcing the upcoming Baptism and Wedding (official Banns of Marriage) for Zachary Lovering and Alexis Stanwick, at St Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Church, on Saturday, 23 May 2026, at 1pm.

Thank you, everyone, for all working together for the Glory of God, in helping make the celebration of the Feast of Feasts -- the Resurrection of our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ -- a wonderful event.

We had the BIGGEST atttendance ever, in the history of our parish -- 124 people (including Zoomers).

📣 Special Announcements:

1) BUS TRIP to Monastery in Quebec (LaChute): April 25, NEXT Saturday, all day. Cost $86 per person. Organized by three Greek Orthodox Parishes (Kingston, Belleville, and Brockville). They have invited St Gregory Parish to participate. Fr Andrew forwarded names of interested individuals to the organizer, Tim Mardicis, the Parish Council President at Kingston's Greek Orthodox Church (Dormition/Koimisis--121 Johnson Street) If you have not yet heard back from Tim, please CONTACT HIM DIRECTLY at 613-532-6440 or at [email protected]

2) A "BIG THANK YOU" to EVERYONE who participated and helped make the celebration of our Lord's Holy Week and Pascha a great success. We had a strong attendance at each Holy Week nightly service. The Choir and Altar Servers did WELL. We had our Largest-ever Pascha attendance--114 in church (124 including Zoomers). Glory to God! Thanks to the singers, servers, readers, chanters, cleaners, carpenters, IT tech guys, and our new Greeter Door-Keeper committee. Thanks to those who cleaned, cooked, baked holy bread and the Artos, bought flowers, decorated the Tomb, helped in the Processions, and provided for the Easter Egg hunt.

- PASCHA - MIDNIGHT LITURGY
with OUTDOOR NIGHT CANDLE PROCESSION,
and BLESSING OF BASKETS after the Liturgy,
and AGAPE LOVE FEAST after the Liturgy
LIVE IN KINGSTON and ONLINE

Please START YOUR TOTAL ABSTINENCE FAST (No Food, No Water until Holy Communion) in preparation for HOLY COMMUNION at the PASCHA MIDNIGHT LITURGY NO LATER THAN 6pm on Saturday evening. Starting at 4pm is better.

You MUST have made your Lenten Confession in order to receive Holy Communion on Pascha!

THERE IS NO SUNDAY MORNING PASCHA 10am LITURGY.
