Well, well, well. It has come! The end of our year. And while we're super sad - we want to end it with a bang! Lets hang out at Yogi Bear Campground....eat pizza....have a campfire....lots of snacks and lots of laughs! Monday June 8th from 6-8pm (an extended time so we can more memories).

Our HopeYouth have been going through Fire & Faithfulness series by Sadie Robertson where she uses the example of Daniel to teach our teens that obedient faithfulness is possible, and last night she talked about how we can use our influence to show the power of God to those around us & that when conflict hits we can turn to God first; and when prayers get answered, we are to praise God.

Following our time together I was reminded of the verse: “But I protested, “Oh no, Lord God! Look, I don’t know how to speak since I am only a youth.” Then the Lord said to me: Do not say, “I am only a youth,” for you will go to everyone I send you to and speak whatever I tell you. Do not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to rescue you. This is the Lord’s declaration. Then the Lord reached out his hand, touched my mouth, and told me: I have now filled your mouth with my words. See, I have appointed you today over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and demolish, to build and plant.”

This past Monday our youth finished a series on serving by getting their hands dirty 🤪It was so nice to practically give back, especially to someone who pours into our church family. Our youth spent the evening raking a large backyard and prepping it for Spring. A great reminder that serving doesnt need to be a grand gesture or event to serve someone and we can make serving a part of our every day life with small, regular, practical ways.

and God. We challenged our youth to keep thinking of their unique gifts God gave them and use them to serve others around them.
