St. John's PC, Kingston

St. John's PC, Kingston A small country congregation with a big heart. Come see us on Sundays at 11am for worship. St. We worship on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m.

John’s is a small, fun and food-loving church community, located east of downtown Kingston, Ont. It is an opportunity to sing, pray and learn about the Bible and the life of Jesus, and take some time to connect with each other. Music is one of the things that brings us together, and, although we do not currently have a choir, we have a band with a variety of instruments that plays during the last service of each month.

Hi neighbours, Rev. Julielee, here. I am a big podcast listener. One of my favourite shows is called Hidden Brain. Recently they did a two-episode dive into spirituality. I found it fascinating. See a bit more about the episode, below.

"Food, safety, and strong relationships are essential to our survival. Psychologist Lisa Miller says our brains also crave something else: transcendence. She suggests that spirituality is a universal human capacity, and that feeling connected to something larger than ourselves may be essential to a fulfilling life."
