St. John's PC, Kingston

St. John's PC, Kingston A small country congregation with a big heart. Come see us on Sundays at 11am for worship. St. We worship on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m.

John’s is a small, fun and food-loving church community, located east of downtown Kingston, Ont. It is an opportunity to sing, pray and learn about the Bible and the life of Jesus, and take some time to connect with each other. Music is one of the things that brings us together, and, although we do not currently have a choir, we have a band with a variety of instruments that plays during the last service of each month.

Have you ever wondered why food seems so central to the Christian life? After all, one of the most sacred moments in the church is when we gather around the Lord's Table and remember Jesus' love and sacrifice by breaking bread and drinking juice. (We're Presbyterian - of course, it's juice!).

And when someone we love is hurting, what do we offer them? Presence. Prayer. And of course...Food. When we break bread together, when we serve one another, when we ensure our neighbour is fed, we are living the Gospel. Come learn more about this ancient practice... and stay for a shared meal! All are welcome.

We gather at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Holy Week Schedule

We hope that you can join us for one (or all) of our upcoming Services this Holy Week at St. John's, 2360 Middle Road. The sanctuary is for all God's children - ages 1 to 110! Come and meet your neighbour, learn more about scripture, and why more than 2,000 years later we still find hope at the cross.

Throughout this special and sacred time, we will be collecting donations for Victim Services of Kingston and Frontenac. If you would like to learn more about this effort, comment below or send us a DM and Rev. Julielee will be in touch.

In the 1930s, a comedic duo would rocket to fame with a popular skit sometimes called, "Who's on First". Can you name the two performers?

The skit's comedic genius means that nearly 90 years later we're still laughing. Being misunderstood isn't always funny... or enjoyable. But it is universal.

Join us tomorrow, Sunday, March 22 as we consider John 11, and what it might tell us about frustration, our relationship with ourselves, others, and Jesus.

Congratulations to our neighbours at Station #1 for 70 years of serving and protecting our community.

Firefighting isn't just a job. It's a calling that requires courage, commitment, and sacrifice. We give thanks to all the men and women, past and present, who have served at our local station helping to safeguard life, property, and the environment. We also thank their families who made their share of adjustments and sacrifices.

May God bless you and keep you, as you embark on the next 70 years!
