Why not join us this Labour Day Sunday, September 6, at 11:00 am? You can worship with us in person or find us on YouTube each Sunday. Our speaker this week is Virginia DeAdder, with her message "Divine Seed: Hope, Life, Victory, Armor" (Genesis 3: 14-15; Ephesians 6: 10-20). There will also be a special Labour Day prayer and we will celebrate Holy Communion together, as we do the first Sunday of each month.
Rev. Virginia DeAdder grew up in Prospect, second oldest of seven. She retired from MT&T after 29 years there. After years of being religious, she found a personal relationship with Jesus Christ on November 20, 1995, after grieving the loss of a dear brother.
In 2006, Almighty God called Virginia into ministry. She graduated from Acadia Divinity College with her B.Th. and was ordained the following year. Now a retired pastor from Mount Denson Baptist and, lastly, Alton Baptist, her prayers are to keep Jesus as Lord, love and forgive one another, not judging, sharing Jesus' love, hope, and healing with a hurting world, recognizing that we do not struggle against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces in this dark world (Ephesians 6:12).
Virginia has been blessed with many precious gifts, not the least of which are her husband Marvin, her children Karla and M. Lee, her granddaughters Madison and Taylor, her grandson Camrin, her great-granddaughter Ava, and her great-grandsons Westen, Elliott, Levi, and Bobby.
Virginia’s favourite scripture verse is Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”
