Today was a beautiful day for our parish picnic. We decided a block party was the way to go and we were not disappointed! We even celebrated with a lovely kindergrad! Congratulations to all the local graduates!

This morning we will focus on the Matthew 13 reading on the good seeds and weeds. The good news is that we are not the judge. Our annual picnic will follow the service. What is a Blessing Box? Think of it as a little grocery shelf. Non-perishable food items are left in the box, and if you have a need for food items, take what you need. It is given with love! The Blessing Box is located at St. Columba Anglican Church, in the front yard. We ask that all items donated are in their original sealed package and have not expired! On Sunday, June 28 we will worship at St. Columba at 10:00am with a service of Holy Communion led by the Reverend Ann Camber who serves as priest at The Gathering Table in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Ann dropping by to visit the St. Columba congregation where she was a faithful member for many, many years, This Sunday we will reflect on Matthew 10:40-42 as Jesus commissions his disciples.
