On Sunday, June 21 we will worship at St. Columba at 10:00am with a service of Holy Communion led by Reverend Susan. This Sunday we will acknowledge the National Indigenous Day of Prayer, reflecting on the Residential School goal, which was in essence, to kill the Indian in the child, thereby assimilating the child into so called Canadian society. Harsh discipline came if a student spoke his or her language and many were separated from other family members. Remember, all are loved; all are welcome! Come and See!

On Sunday, June 14 we will worship at St. Columba at 10:00am with a Morning Prayer service led by one of our amazing lay leaders. The Third Sunday after Pentecost leads us to scripture from Matthew Chapter 9 and 10. We learn that the Messiah has come, as it turns out, not to solve worldly problems for us, but to encourage and empower us to solve our own problems, in effect recruiting us into becoming full participants in God’s work of love and redemption. Remember, all are loved; all are welcome! Come and See!

On Sunday, June 7 we will worship at St. Columba at 10:00am with a Communion service led by Reverend Susan. The second Sunday after Pentecost brings us into the heart of Jesus’s ministry, where we encounter two key themes: the calling of the unlikely, and the power of healing. The stories of Matthew’s call and Jesus’s healing acts emphasize restorative mercy. Remember, all are loved, all are welcome! Come and See!

Sunday, May 31 is Trinity Sunday, and we will worship at St. Columba at 10:00am with a Liturgy of the Word service led by one of our amazing lay leaders. The Trinity is described as a "holy mystery" and by mystery the Church does not mean a riddle, but rather the Trinity is seen as a reality beyond our human comprehension… a reality that we may begin to grasp but ultimately will only know through our worship and growth in faith. Coffee will be on! ALL ARE LOVED, ALL ARE WELCOME! Come and See!

On Pentecost Sunday, May 24, we will worship at St. Columba on at 10:00am. Executive Archdeacon Reverend Jonathan Bauer will lead worship. It is seldom that we have a visitor from the diocesan office, so please consider attending. We are having coffee at the church following the service, so plan on staying for a visit. Day 7 - The Spirit of Leadership ✨

Today, let us pray that the Holy Spirit would lead us closer to God and help us carry our Five loved ones with faith.

My life flows on in endless song,
above earth’s lamentation.
I catch the sweet, though far-off hymn that hails a new creation.

Day 6 - The Spirit and the Still Small Voice ✨

Today, let us pray that the Holy Spirit would meet our Five in the stillness and help them hear the gentle whisper of God.

When the heart is hard and parched up,
come upon me with a shower of mercy.
When grace is lost from life,
come with a burst of song.
When tumultuous work raises its din on all sides shutting me out from beyond,
