Like running with a heavy backpack, we can't fully serve Jesus until we let go of our own ideas of status and success. In Mark 10, Jesus flips the world upside down: true greatness means serving, not being served. Just like blind Bartimaeus throwing off his cloak to run to Jesus, we have to drop our pride. Jesus isn't interested in our wallets, trophies, or sunglasses—He wants us to throw aside our baggage so we can give, not gain.

Hello church family! Thanks to everyone who came out to our movie in the park last Saturday. The weather was perfect and we loved seeing all the families and being able to enjoy being out in the community!
