New Life Centre Kelowna We are a community of believers that are being transformed by the love of God! We are passionate worshipers, prayers and lovers of God!

It is our deep desire to see people, our city and world transformed by God’s love as well. We love God’s healing presence! As a result of a dramatic move and importation of the spirit, we value God’s leading through the gift of prophecy. We were planted as a missions church with a call to mercy and justice and we still value and carry that call today. Whether you are visiting, your first time here

5-Day Prayer Devotional: Invested in the Kingdom

Day 1: Shifting Perspectives Scripture: Philippians 4:14–16 Reflection: Today, reflect on whether I view money primarily as a tool for self-preservation or a resource for Kingdom partnership. Ask myself: Am I asking "How can this serve me?" or "How can this advance Christ's mission?" Prayer: Lord, help me shift my mindset from consumer to steward. Open my eyes to see my finances not as my personal security, but as a resource for Your gospel work. Amen.

Day 2: Generosity and the Heart Scripture: Philippians 4:17; Mark 12:41–44 Reflection: Generosity is not measured by the amount given, but by the heart behind the gift. Consider how my giving—or lack thereof—reveals the state of my heart regarding materialism. Prayer: Father, I surrender my attachment to material things. Let my generosity be a reflection of my allegiance to You rather than an act of surplus. Dethrone money in my heart, and reign as Lord over my finances. Amen.

Day 3: Giving as Worship Scripture: Philippians 4:18; Luke 12:33–34 Reflection: Giving is a vertical act of worship, not a transactional church obligation. Every time I steward my money toward God's purposes, I am offering a "fragrant offering" of praise. Reflect on how I give: Is it with a worshipping heart? Prayer: Lord, I offer my resources to You today as an act of worship. May my bank account reflect that You are the true object of my devotion. Use what I have to bless others and honour You. Amen.

Day 4: Trusting in God’s Provision Scripture: Philippians 4:19–20; Matthew 6:25–33 Reflection: God promises to meet our needs when we prioritize His Kingdom. Reflect on areas of my life where I feel anxiety about the future and choose to trust in His promise of provision. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise to meet my needs according to Your riches. Forgive me for hoarding out of fear. I choose to seek Your Kingdom first today, trusting that You will take care of me. Amen.

Day 5: Investing for Eternity Scripture: Philippians 4:21–23; Luke 12:35–40 Reflection: Think about the eternal impact of my financial choices. When I submit my money to God, He uses temporal currency to yield eternal, soul-saving returns. Ask myself: What is one concrete step I can take today to ensure my financial actions serve God’s glory? Prayer: Lord, grant me the wisdom of a faithful steward. Help me to use the resources entrusted to me to invest in what matters most—Your Kingdom. May my life and my giving yield a harvest that lasts for eternity. Amen.
