Kelowna Islamic Centre is pleased to announce the return of the Daily Iftar Program during the
upcoming month of Ramadan. While everyone is welcome, the Daily Iftar Program aims to provide a healthy meal, in a peaceful and welcoming environment, to individuals (mostly students) who are spending Ramadan away from their families. This program is funded solely by donations that make it
financially sustainable. Because of your generosity and the dedication of our selfless volunteers, we were able to serve more than 2200 warm meals during last Ramadan.

Attending the Iftar

Attending the Iftar at the Masjid is free, but registration is a must, please! This will allow us to better plan the seating arrangement and food preparation for each day. Please complete and submit the form in the link below:

Cash, cheque, and credit card donations are accepted in person at the Masjid. Make sure to
identify “IFTAR” when making the donation.

Online donations are accepted by Etransfer to: [email protected]

Please make sure to include “IFTAR” in the comments section of the etransfer along with your mailing address and email address to receive a tax deductible receipt.

Assalam-o-Alaikum, dear all,

London ONT, horrific massacre vigil on Jun 12th, Saturday, at 3pm at Stuart Park

Kelowna Islamic Center is holding a vigil in respect of the recent London ON, horrific and sad incident where 4 members of one family were martyred and one critically injured (may God Almighty grant them high ranks in the Paradise and give injured a fast recovery). Please make the time to join us in solidarity to fight discrimination and hate and share this information with others through all communication mediums. Event details are as following:

Assalam-o-Alaikum, as you may have heard about the horrific, sad, and heart breaking incident of Islamophobia in London ON, leaving four members of a single family dead (إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ) and one in critical condition. Our hearts go out to the family, may Allah SWT grant deceaseds high ranks in the Jannah, provide fast recovery to the critically injured and give the family courage and patience to manage the loss - Ameen.

A rally has been organized by the CJPME (Justice for Peace in Middle East) against this aggression for May 23rd, 2pm at the Stuart Park downtown (1430 Water Street Kelowna). Please support your brothers and sisters by joining this walk.
