Samuel's Mantle Prophetic Training School is committed to training God's people to hear and understand the way God speaks and what He is saying.

Do you hunger for a personal relationship with God? Do you ever wonder why you want more of God’s presence in your life but others don’t? Or do you have a sense that God is all around waiting to be found by you… if you could just figure out how? If any of these questions ring true for you then you are already hearing the Lord, and God is introducing you to one of the ways He speaks. By causing a d

rawing or burden in your heart to know Him more intimately. It was just such a heart condition that the two disciples on the road to Emmaus experienced as they walked with Jesus. With their physical eyes the person walking with them was just another traveller but in these disciple’s hearts there was more going on – they discovered their hearts to be on fire (Luke 24:32). Isaiah describes another form of this “heart to heart” communication with his description of how he receives prophetic words in Isaiah 19:1 (nkj), “This is the burden….” In fact hearing the Lord by “burden” is a common theme in Isaiah. Have you ever just had to tell someone something, do a certain thing for someone, or call someone before you felt at peace? Then you too know the leading of the Holy Spirit by the burden of the Lord. Truth be told there are countless ways the Lord speaks: through thoughts, pictures, impressions, feelings, dreams, visions, prophecy, etc… All of these ways of speaking have been given by Jesus to his bride the church as ways to discover who His Father is. So that we the church can come to grasp how much God loves us. In fact Paul prays this very thing in Ephesians 1:17

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”

All of the many ways God speaks have a purpose, to know Him better. And we at Samuel’s Mantle have made that our task. That we would learn the many ways that God speaks so that we can know this glorious Father, as Paul describes Him. If you feel that wonderful tugging in your heart, that tug of the Holy Spirit to know your Father better. Then maybe Samuel’s Mantle is for you as well!

Thank you for being part of the Samuel's Mantle family and for faithfully praying for Samuel's Mantle, Catch the Fire Okanagan, and Catch the Fire Barrie. We are so grateful for your partnership and support. Your prayers make a difference!
This year, Catch the Fire Okanagan is hosting our 3rd and 6th Year Samuel's Mantle classes, while Catch the Fire Barrie has just completed hosting our 1st Year hybrid class, both in person and on Zoom.
If you know of a church that may be interested in hosting Samuel's Mantle classes, we would love to hear from you!
New 1st Year Class Starting This Fall
We have begun receiving inquiries from people interested in joining a new 1st Year Samuel's Mantle class this September.
Praise Report: We are planning to launch a new 1st Year class in September!
Prayer Request: Please pray for wisdom and clarity regarding:
The day of the week the class should be held
The time of day, as we have interested students from several time zones
The possibility of partnering with a church to host the class

California Ministry Trip
From May 28 to June 2, Murray traveled to California to minister to a group of Samuel's Mantle students, all currently in 6th Year.
Praise Report: Murray shared that the trip was fantastic! During a seminar on sentimental objects, over 100 people broke into small groups with individuals they had never met before. The discussions were so impactful that people stayed for two hours, and no one wanted to leave. Many attendees arrived believing God no longer speaks today and left with a completely different perspective.

1st Year Samuel's Mantle Graduation
Our 1st Year Samuel's Mantle class officially concluded on May 28, 2026.
We are incredibly thankful for our partnership with Catch the Fire Barrie, who faithfully hosted this hybrid class throughout the year.
Prayer Request: We are now planning a 2nd Year class for these students. Please pray for:
Enough volunteers to help facilitate the class
A strong number of returning students

June Prophetic Accelerator
Our 3rd Annual June Prophetic Accelerator began on June 3 and runs for four weeks.
This special gathering brings together current and former students from all years for teaching, practice, encouragement, and ministry with Murray Dueck.
Praise Report: We are now halfway through, and people are thoroughly enjoying reconnecting with students from other classes and growing together as they practice releasing the anointing.

This special gathering is designed specifically for our Samuel's Mantle partners and volunteers.
The retreat begins at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 6 and concludes at Noon on Monday, September 7.
Prayer Request: Please pray that the Lord richly blesses this time together.
If you are not currently a partner, we invite you to pray about becoming one. Even if you are simply considering partnership, you are welcome to attend.
We are hoping for a minimum of 20 attendees and are getting very close!

Murray's Sabbatical
Murray is currently on sabbatical through the end of August to focus on much-needed rest, counseling, and spiritual direction.
As part of this season, Murray is not scheduling personal one-on-one ministry sessions while he works through his own healing journey.
The only ministry commitment he continues to maintain is the monthly Partner Zoom Connect.
Prayer Request: Please pray that Jesus continues to bring deep healing, restoration, and refreshment to Murray's heart.

Samuel's Mantle Podcast – Season 3
Season 3 of the Samuel's Mantle Podcast has officially launched!
This season looks a little different from previous years. While Murray is on sabbatical, Tricia is introducing some of Murray's recorded classroom teachings and interviewing students about their experiences and journeys.
Prayer Request: Please pray for Tricia as she navigates this new season and develops fresh content for the podcast.

Murray's Health
Murray's health has improved significantly, but he continues to experience some ongoing symptoms.

Continued healing and restoration
Wisdom regarding next steps
Favor in finding a family doctor (which remains challenging in Kamloops)
Update: Murray is hopeful that the healing and counseling he is currently receiving will also contribute to improvements in his overall health.

Murray's New Book
Murray's upcoming book has now been expanded into two volumes, both of which are currently being edited simultaneously.
