Hey neighbours, we've got something fun happening this Saturday!

Come join us for our Community Yard Sale on May 2 from 8 am to 12 pm at the Sanctuary Lutheran Church parking lot at 4091 Lakeshore Road.

There'll be all kinds of pre-loved treasures up for grabs: clothes, books, kitchenware, decor, toys, plants, and more.

Our youth group will be washing cars, the concession will be open, and every purchase helps support local and international causes.

It's a great morning out with your community, and you might just find something you love!

We'd love to see you there.

Spring clean season is here. Join us for the Community Yard Sale on May 2, 8am–12pm at the Sanctuary parking lot (4091 Lakeshore Rd). Rent a table for $25, sell your pre-loved stuff, and keep every dollar you make.

Grab a bite from the concession, get your car washed by the youth group, and spend the morning with good people.

Community, friendship, and a place to put down roots.

Armed with nothing but a paper clip, our youth hit the streets of Penticton for a little friendly competition.

Split into teams with youth from other local groups, they traded their way up: paper clip to egg whisk, egg whisk to who-knows-what, to see who could come home with the biggest, best, or most unique item.

Points went to the best upgrades, the most unique finds, and the best storytelling along the way. Teams also collected items for the Penticton Food Bank while they were at it.

One group ended with a 70s floor lamp. Another with a queen-size mattress.

But the real takeaway? Competing for "bigger and better" is fun, and it's a pretty good reminder that God is the biggest and best in our lives, and wants that for each of us, too.
