What a blessed and meaningful weekend of revival, learning, fellowship, and mission! 🙏

Our Leadership & Training Seminar began Friday evening with a small group gathered for our opening session. Though we started with only a few, God was already at work preparing hearts for what was to come.

Sabbath morning brought a growing group together as we learned on mission and Gospel outreach through Gospel Outreach Canada. We were reminded that revival is not only about being spiritually renewed—it moves us to serve, share, and reach others with the love of Christ.

And, of course, we were blessed with a sumptuous lunch that gave everyone an opportunity to fellowship, reconnect, and enjoy one another's company. 🍽️❤️

We concluded Saturday afternoon with another meaningful session filled with new learnings, practical insights, inspiration, and takeaways that we can bring into our personal lives, ministries, and leadership responsibilities.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Milenko Tanurdzic for sharing his time, wisdom, and passion for God's work. We also appreciate everyone who attended, participated, prepared the meals, supported the AV team, and helped make this seminar a success.

May what we learned not remain inside the seminar room. May it lead us to revival, reformation, and evangelism—and inspire us to become faithful leaders and disciples for Christ.

🌿 Parenting & Kids Leadership Weekend Seminar — A Blessed Weekend! 🌿

What a wonderful and blessed weekend we had at the Kelowna Seventh-day Adventist Church! 🙏
Our hearts were encouraged and inspired through the powerful messages, meaningful discussions, and beautiful songs of encouragement shared throughout our Parenting & Kids Leadership Seminar.

We are especially grateful to our guest speaker, Shine Deza-Mariano, for sharing her gifts, experience, and passion for families, children, education, and ministry. May God continue to bless and use her ministry to inspire families and strengthen the next generation. ❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who participated and helped make this seminar a success—from our parents, children, youth, and church members to everyone who worked behind the scenes.

Special appreciation to our kitchen team, AV/media team, program coordinators, musicians, volunteers, and all those who gave their time and talents to serve. Your work, whether seen or unseen, helped create a beautiful and welcoming experience for everyone.

May the lessons we received not simply remain in the church, but continue in our homes, families, and daily lives.

CELEBRATING OUR FAITHFUL WOMEN OF GOD 🌷
Today, we celebrate with grateful hearts four remarkable women of faith who continue to inspire our church family through their dedication, service, and love for God, even as they reach incredible milestones in life. ❤️

🎉 80 years-June Dubyna
🎉 89 years- Maria Tzechinaki
🎉 91 years- Dorothy Robertson
🎉 99 years — Edith Szerepi our oldest celebrant!

These wonderful women remind us that age is never a barrier to serving God and blessing others. They remain faithful and active members of our Quilting Ministry, using their hands, hearts, and talents to create beautiful works that bring comfort and encouragement to others
They also continue to participate in our church's outreach ministries, sharing their time, love, prayers, and presence with the community. Their lives are a beautiful testimony that a heart dedicated to God can continue to make a difference at every stage of life.

🌸 What an inspiration they are to all of us!
Their faithfulness teaches our younger generations the value of commitment, service, compassion, and perseverance. May their example remind us that we are never too old to serve, encourage, pray, and share God's love.

📖 “They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing.” — Psalm 92:14 (KJV)

May God continue to bless these precious women with strength, joy, good health, and abundant grace. May their remaining years be filled with purpose and may their lives continue to shine as a testimony of God's faithfulness

🙏 DEDICATION OF OUR NEWLY ELECTED CHURCH OFFICERS 🙏

Today, we give thanks to God for the dedication of our newly elected church officers. May the Lord bless each one with wisdom, humility, strength, and a servant’s heart as they faithfully serve His church.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our outgoing Church Treasurer and Church Clerk, (Kim Tatchell) who have faithfully served for 12 years.

❤️ Your years of dedication, sacrifice, faithfulness, and behind-the-scenes service have made a lasting impact on our church family. We are deeply grateful for everything you have done.

As you pass the responsibility to the next generation of leaders, may you continue to be blessed by the assurance that your labor for the Lord has not been in vain.

A Grateful Farewell & Tribute to Our Pastor and His Wife ❤️

Today, we give thanks to God for the ministry, love, guidance, and faithful service of our beloved pastor and his wife. Your presence has blessed our church family in so many ways. Through your leadership, prayers, encouragement, and Christ-centered example, you have helped us grow closer to God and to one another.

As you begin a new chapter, please know that you will always have a special place in our hearts. We may say goodbye, but we trust that God is simply leading you to where He needs you next.

“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” — Numbers 6:24–26

Thank you for serving, loving, and shepherding our church family. May God continue to guide your steps, strengthen your ministry, and bless your family wherever He leads you.

Yesterday's Sabbath celebration was a profoundly blessed event, beginning with our Sabbath School program, which was conducted in a distinctly Filipino manner, and highlighting the acceptance of Jesus Christ as their personal Savior by two of our young members, before concluding with the Vacation Bible School Graduation program, thus making it an immensely enjoyable Sabbath; gratitude is sincerely expressed to the organizers, volunteers, and parents for their pivotal roles in this notable achievement for our church.
