So after much thought and deliberation, I think I am going to downsize drastically, or maybe sell the whole flock altogether. I have ewes ranging in ages from one year to four years all purebred registered Canadian Arcott I will also have a few Dorset ewes ages one year and 1-6 yr old. Heroma and coyote acres.
I have the genetics coming from Sheep Trax, one BB Farms ewe, one Goven Ranch ewe, Last Of the Line,
Sky Blue ewe, they have all brought me fabulous meat lambs and some ewe lambs I kept back for replacements. Nothing will be sold that is a cull unless you want them. I based my replacements good mouths, good legs. Lenght of loin and conformation and of corse mothering. Which I have had an issue with any Canadian or a Dorset. They are such great moms. Some of these ewes are trains. They have lambed with little to no assistance. I’m a bit of helicopter Shepard. They are vaxed, no known health issues. Sheared regularly and feet trimmed by shearer. Currently 15 Canadian ewes with lambs. And a few of these are culls, 4 Dorsets with lambs.
Open ewes as they lambs last fall. There are 6 Canadians and 2 Dorset.
Never lambed. 5 yearlings and 2 1.5 yr olds. And 3 yearling Dorsets.
And 4 registered Canadian Rams 1 ram I haven’t registered yet. Just PM for more info. Thank you.
A lot to list here but a conversation with you would be wonderful.
Location is Westbridge BC.
