With deep sadness, we inform our community of the passing of the beloved father of Brother Mehmood Shaikh, President of Kanata Muslim Association (KMA) and father-in-law of Sister Afreen Shaikh, Principal of KMA Hikmah School. He passed away on Wednesday May 27th in India.

We ask the community to please keep him and the family in your duas. May Allah ๏ทป grant him Jannatul Firdaus and grant sabr and strength to his loved ones. Ameen.

Brother Mehmood and his family will be accepting condolences at the KMA Masjid (351 Sandhill Road, Kanata) on Friday, May 29th, between 7:00pm to 8:30pm. A collective dua will take place before Maghrib, inshaโ€™Allah.
