him better. We want to build up our head knowledge and our heart knowledge of Jesus so that we can better serve him and love him. It’s seems simple, and yet it’s a lifelong journey. Become
Jesus wants each of us to develop into the person he has designed us to be. Figuring out what the person looks like and taking the steps to become more like that person can be a challenge. But we know the reward is worth it. So we try to help each other figure it out.

With a heavy heart, we have decided to cancel the Block Party this year. Enjoying a beautiful day in the sunshine with bouncy castles, outdoor entertainment, and face painting is at the core of the event, and it is not possible with rain before or during the event. The rain, mud and slippery conditions forecasted have contributed to this decision as well as the anticipated attendance due to poor weather.

The Block Party is a touchstone ministry event at Brookside, and we are extremely thankful to the team that has worked tirelessly to prepare for it. Your hard work and dedication to Kingdom work are not overlooked, and we recognize your commitment to our community and sharing the gospel in practical ways.

We're excited to share our fresh new look!

We've collaborated with a talented creative team to design a new look for our community. The new logo incorporates a couple meaningful elements. Inspired by Ezekiel's description of God's life-giving presence as a stream of living water, it features upward-flowing water symbolizing our church family's growth in faith and dedication to Jesus. Additionally, a downward-facing chevron signifies the deepening roots of faith in our individual lives. All of this is encapsulated in a playful and dynamic 3D "b," embodying Brookside's aspiration to aim high and pull together in pursuit of the mission — all while maintaining a spirit of joy and laughter. Innovation and creativity have always been central to our approach as we move forward in alignment with the vision we believe God has for our church.

We're full of anticipation for all that God has in store for our church family as we continue to serve and uplift our community. We hope you love our new look as much as we do!
