God still heals!

In January 2020, I was driving past a quarter section of land just outside Drayton Valley when I sensed the Lord say, "Buy Me that, and I'll meet you there."

The land wasn't even for sale.

But I've learned that obedience doesn't always come with certainty.

Cara and I dedicated the land to the Lord, cleared a small space in the woods, built a simple stage, and invited people to gather - not knowing if anyone would come.

More than 300 people showed up.

Then 700.

Then nearly 2,000.

Then over 6,000.

Not because of a marketing strategy.

Not because of a famous venue.

Not because of a perfect production.

Because God keeps His promises.

He said, "I'll meet you there."

And He has.

We've watched people surrender their lives to Jesus. We've witnessed baptisms, miracles, healing, restoration, and countless moments that only God could orchestrate.

Looking back, I'm reminded that God rarely asks us to understand before He asks us to obey.

He simply asks us to trust Him.

And I've found that some of the greatest miracles of my life have been waiting on the other side of one simple "yes."

One of my favorite verses is 2 Corinthians 4:7:

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

I love that God compares us to jars of clay.

Ordinary.

Fragile.

Imperfect.

Easily cracked.

That's exactly the point.

God has never been looking for the most polished, the most talented, or the most impressive person in the room.

He's looking for people who are willing to let His power shine through their weakness.

The cracks don't disqualify you.

Sometimes they're the very places where God's light shines the brightest.

If people walk away impressed with us, we've missed it.

But if they walk away seeing Jesus more clearly because of our lives, then we've understood what it means to carry the treasure.
