Stella Maris Church will be open daily for the summer months for visitation/prayers from 9 am – 5 pm. Access to the vestry will be closed when the Parish Office closes.
Prayer Line - Please Note: Calls to the Prayer Line are to be made to Bernice O’Connor 258-2808 between 10 am - 6 pm. Otherwise please leave a message with your request and it will be passed along to the group.
Family Mass will be celebrated on the second Sunday of the month at 11 am in Stella Maris Church with reception following the Mass. All are welcome to attend.
Religious Education Classes for Grade 2 will start on Sunday, Oct. 25th, 6-7 pm in Stella Maris Church. Please contact Marilyn Sangster at 902-258-3264 to register your child.
Holy Communion will be taken to the sick and shut-ins on the second Thursday of the month. If you wish to receive Holy Communion please contact the Parish Office with your name, phone number, and civic address. If no one is in the office, please leave a message with your information.
St. Margaret’s Sunday Rosary will be prayed at 9am each Sunday prior to 9:30 am Mass. All are welcome.
Stella Maris Rosary for Peace will be prayed for before the Mass on Saturdays, 4 pm and on Sundays, 10am. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Stella Maris Parish – Volunteers are needed to assist with preparation for the Masses. If you are willing to help please call Stella Maris Parish Office 258-2462.
Altar Servers – Stella Maris Parish & St. Margaret’s Parish Youth who have received their First Communion are eligible to assist the Priest/Deacon during the Holy Mass. If interested in volunteering for this ministry please contact Stella Maris Parish at 258-2462.
70thBroad Cove Concert Caps are available by contacting Joanne after 9:30 am Mass at St. Margaret’s. Caps are $20 each.
Lost & Found A number of items have been left behind at St. Margaret’s Church and can be picked up after the Sunday 9:30 am Mass or call Stella Maris Parish Office 902-258-2462 for information.
Hunter’s Breakfast will take place at Glencoe Station Hall on Saturdays, 7 – 11 am on Oct. 31st, Nov. 7th,
Nov 14th, Nov. 21st, Nov. 28th, Dec. 5th. Breakfast includes bacon, sausages, hash browns, eggs, toast, coffee, tea and juice. Cost per person $15.00
Stella Maris Parish Bazaar will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21st at Inverness Firehall. We are requesting volunteers to assist with the event. Please think of the Parish Bazaar when clearing out your garden, making preserves or doing crafting. Donations to any of the tables would be appreciated. Further information will be posted in next week’s bulletin.
ICMH Auxiliary Annual Christmas Tea & Sale will take place on Sunday, Nov. 29th, 2-5 pm at Inverness Legion. Inverness Bakers are asked to bring in their sweets starting at 10 am Downstairs and St. Margaret’s Fudge makers are asked to bring in their fudge Upstairs starting at 10 am. Come and enjoy the tea downstairs,
eat-in or take-out for $5.00 Upstairs enjoy the market with bake table, crafts, jewellery, parcel post and much more; Raffles, Silent Auction and 50/50. Santa will be there to visit the children and they can enjoy kiddy events. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you there!
