Happy Sunday!! What a privilege it was to worship with 10,000 fellow Nazarene youth and sponsors. God was at work here in Tampa Bay in the lives of his people and all over the city. Out God is so so big!

Today was a super fun day! It was our missions project day! Here at NYC, we call it an MWO, which stands for ‘Ministry with Others!’ We began our day with our worship service followed by loading the buses and travelling to St. Pete where we assisted a local church in promotion.

Half of our group was sent out in the community to handout flyers and pamphlets inviting neighbours to a block party as well as a celebration at their church tomorrow. The other half of our group was helping to host the block party. We chatted with neighbours, served food, did temporary tattoos for the kids, played with the children and engaged in community. It was a super rewarding ministry experience.

We ended the evening with a worship service followed by a concert! The students are doing amazing, they are tired but they are doing alright. Thank you for your prayer, keep them coming!

Today has been absolutely amazing! We had the privilege of worshipping together this morning followed by some time exploring the Rec Room! The Rex Room is full of games, activities, challenges, zip lining… the opportunities are endless!

We then had the privilege to gather in worship once more this evening. Absolutely beautiful! God moved in ways that are beyond what words can say, I encourage you, if you watch one session, watch session 4. It’s amazing what can happen when you strip the lights and go back to the basics of just worship. God is on the move here in Tampa Bay, please continue to pray for your kids as God speaks to their hearts!

Day 1 of NYC has been a blast! We started off this morning with our first worship rally. What a privilege and blessing it was to begin to worship with all the other Nazarene youth and leaders! We spent our afternoon in what is called ‘the experience’ and it is devotional stations strategically planned to bring you to a place where we can encounter God in a new way. We followed that up by another amazing worship rally and of course ended the evening with a late night concert with ‘For King and Country’. Our kids are having a blast, we are all pretty sunburnt and crispy but we are doing alright!

THIS WEEKEND is our VBS! If you have children or grandchildren in the Innisfail or Red Deer area ages 4 through grade 5 we would love to have them check out this FREE event!
