Warm blankets or sleeping bags needed.
If you have unused blankets or sleeping bags the Hussar Lutheran church women are collecting them for the Red Deer Mustard Seed in memory of "Britney". She was a young woman who lost her life due to addiction, homelessness, and the cold on the streets of Red Deer. If you can help fill this need, there will be a box in the entry of the Hussar Lutheran Church, or contact a church member. While Britney was not a member of this community, her story, like countless others, is so sad and invites our compassion.
