12 Days until the first worship service of 2026 at Christ Church Ilfracombe! This year we will be celebrating the 140th Anniversary of our little church on Buck Lake.

Below you will find some updates, requests and information on Christ Church Ilfracombe to help with summer planning:
⛪Worship services are scheduled for every Sunday at 10.00 am starting June 28 through to August 30, and October 11th for the Thanksgiving Harvest service.
🙏Father James Decker will continue to be our preacher and presider for the 11 services scheduled for 2026.
🎵We are blessed to have the talented Briar Summers leading the music.
📅Important dates for 2026
June 20 at 10 am: Opening and cleaning of the church. All welcome to assist.
June 28 at 10 am: First worship service of 2026
July 26 at 10 am: Service celebrating the 140th Anniversary of Christ Church Ilfracombe. Archbishop Anne Germond preaching. Lunch will follow the service.

☕Our community is always seeking your assistance with the weekly services and care of the property. A beautiful Harvest Thanksgiving Service. Thankful for Father James Decker and Briar Summers. Christ Church Ilfracombe is now put to bed for another year. Services resume June 28, 2026 at 10 am.

Don't miss our last summer service on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 10 am. We will be welcoming The Reverend Kelly Baetz as our presider and preacher. Rev. Kelly is the incumbent of All Saints’, Huntsville. She is also the Archdeacon for the Deanery of Muskoka. Fr. James Decker will be presiding at All Saints' Huntsville next Sunday.
The last service of 2025 will be Thanksgiving Harvest on October 12 at 10 am.

We are less than a month away from our first worship service of 2025 which will be held on June 29th at 10 am. We look forward to seeing you as we open our little, historic church on Buck Lake.
