Why do we share these stats with you?
To get this point across: mentorship matters💪🏼
Gen z is a generation aching for human connection, emotional closeness, someone to understand and help them unravel the tangles of their minds. Gen Z currently reports the highest rates of diagnosed mental health conditions and psychological distress compared to any other living generation. This should be a cause for concern.
On September 11 there will be people hiking from Mamawi Atosketan School to Maskwacis Bible Fellowship Church for a cause. The cause is gen z and the mentorship gap. We need more mentors which means we need more funds to pay our mentors.
If you want to help us see gen z mentored into wholeness, please consider donating to one of these Hike for Hopes. If you are in the local central Alberta area and would like to hike with us, please send us a message!
All proceeds from the September 11 hike will be split between two full time youth workers positioned in Maskwacis First Nation working directly with Indigenous young people.
All proceeds from September 26 Hike for hope will be directed toward maintaining Emma’s mentoring role in Maskwacis Reserve as her funding account dips low.

We cannot bridge the gap without you! Give today to see a young person mentored into hope and wholeness in Jesus Christ. We can’t do this alone, Gen z needs us to show up! 💫
