Life has detours. Life has roadblocks. Life has unexpected turns.

Sometimes the journey doesn't go the way we planned, and we're left wondering where the road is leading.

But God is never caught off guard.

The obstacles that surprise us don't surprise Him. The turns we didn't expect are already known to the One who sees the beginning from the end.

When the road ahead feels uncertain, trust the One who knows the destination.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." — Proverbs 3:5-6

Have you ever felt like your life has taken an unexpected wrong turn?

The truth is, God is never surprised by the roads we travel. The detours, delays, and difficult seasons may leave us wondering where we're headed, but He sees the entire journey from beginning to end.

A compass doesn't show every detail of the road ahead, it simply points in the right direction.

Jesus does more than point the way. He is the way.

When you trust Him, you can move forward with confidence, knowing that every step is held in the hands of the One who knows the destination.

Jesus is still preparing a place for His people and until then, we are not walking through life alone.

The Holy Spirit is God’s presence with us every day:
comforting us in hard seasons, guiding us when we feel uncertain, strengthening us when we are weary, and reminding us that we belong to Him.

Looking back on Sunday and reflecting on this reminder:

“It is only the Holy Spirit in us that makes the Gospel of Christ attractive to others.”

Not perfection.
Not performance.
Not having all the right words.

Just ordinary people walking closely with Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to work through their lives.

When we stay near to Him, His love naturally begins to overflow through us; bringing peace, kindness, hope, and truth to the people around us.

We are so thankful for what God is continuing to do in our church family through His Spirit.

You can feel far from God…
and still be deeply loved by Him.

That’s the heart of the Gospel.

Jesus didn’t come for people who already had it all together. He came near to the weary, the searching, the broken, and the unsure. In Scripture, He describes His relationship with us like a bridegroom preparing a place for His bride. He is personal, faithful, and full of love.

And He didn’t leave us alone.

Through the Holy Spirit, God’s presence is still drawing people close today. He brings peace in anxiety, strength in weakness, and hope to hearts that feel empty or far away.

If you’ve been searching for purpose, peace, or something more…
maybe what your heart is really searching for is Jesus.
