*Eid Al-Adha Announcement*

The High River Islamic Centre adheres to the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) criteria in determining the date of Eidul Adha, which is contingent on the announcement by the Hajj authorities in Makkah of the day of ‘Arafah.

The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) also follows this same date for Eid ul Adha.

Accordingly, the day of ‘Arafah will be celebrated on Thursday June 5, and Eid ul Adha will be celebrated on Friday June 6, 2025 insha Allah.

*Eid prayer* will be offered at the Masala, with Takbeer starting at 8:15 AM and Iqamah at 9am.

*Community Eid Party* will be on Saturday, June 14 at the Shepard Family Park, which will start at 5pm to 8:30 PM (for more information please review the party announcement)

HRIC wishes the Muslim community in High River, across Canada and Muslims around the world a blessed month of Dhul-Hijjah, and a Eid Mubarak.

*Eid Mubarak*
