Hi! My name is Porky. I've been at camp since I was a scamper and love being outside! I also spend my time skiing and dancing when I’m not with all my animals. I have a mini zoo with two lizards, a snake, a hamster, some fish, two cats and a dog who I all love with my whole heart and might stop by camp sometimes! Some of my best friends are at camp too like KG who’s has been in my cabin every year until we became CITs together. My favourite camp activities are swimming and archery but I also love spending time making bracelets with all kids and I can’t wait to have so much fun this year!

Hey!
My name is Riptide, AKA the camp’s waterfront warrior!

This will be my second year lifeguarding and instructing canoeing at camp. I am so excited to spend my summer at camp with all the amazing staff and campers. Camp is an incredible experience that gives us the opportunity to grow, step outside our comfort zones, learn new skills, have fun, and make new friends!
I am so grateful to have the opportunity of being part of the HLUCC staff again this summer. I am so excited to enjoy the summer, and create awesome memories with all the campers and staff!

☀ Meet the Staff 2026

Hi!
My name is Bandit, and I’ll be a day counsellor this summer! You may have seen me around at Subway or maybe even running around town with my 4H club.

I’ve lived on a farm my whole life, and love spending time outdoors and with animals. I spend my free time playing sports and listening to music, both of which I’m stoked to do at HLUCC this summer!

Camp season is sneaking up on us, and I can’t wait to see you there!
